The Australian lady on Peacock whose name I can't remember is great, she was on the morning sessions and was on the Tokyo coverage. I think she is a former heptathlete.Foreigners seem to know more about athletics in general than Americans.
Seriously? Hannah England is atrocious. She can't pronounce names at all. Walker is OK, but abuses the word "absolutely" and could be the basis for a new, sponsored version of the drinking game.
I can't understand her, she needs to learn to enunciate, she sounds like she's got a mouthful of marbles, and she should stop it with the breathless wonderment stuff.
Kara just made reference to Jager being the 1st American man to get a medal in the Steeple. Guess she doesn’t know much about history
Kara is really annoying to have to listen to. In the last lap of the men’s 10000m, with maybe 350m to go, she started with her fake excitement about how these men were in an all out sprint, which of course was not true. But I cannot stand her delivery. Maybe it is just me.
She is bad, but at least she stays mostly quiet and doesn't feel the need to word vomit like Jill Montgomery.
Yes!! I was thinking the same thing. As "bad" as she was, she kept quiet so I wasn't yelling SHUT UP!!!!! at my TV. Hannah England and the other Brit were amazing in the morning show on Peacock.
They had knowledge of every event- I even enjoyed the Hammer Throw.
And Hutchings and Mara Y even made the race walk interesting.
Hutchins and Mara were excellent in the marathon. Kept filling in the stats for each other
