I think the real strength training he desperately needs is for his neck. His chicken bobbing head style of running makes him look too weak to hold his head up - like he's going to fall over at any moment. It's horrible to watch. He has the weakest neck of any adult male I've ever seen. New-born babies have stronger neck muscles.
He watches videos of himself every day, how does he not feel ashamed and want to do something about his head bob?
You guys have all been hoodwinked by a swindler. You think Seth is actually injured? Look at the runs he was still doing after his "prognosis". You think he'd still be doing that with hamstring tendinopathy? He kept going for like a full month.
You guys already know his story for how he got injured is bunk. Follow it through. He made the whole thing up. He hopped onto Google, looked up running injuries, picked one that he thought sounded plausible and went with it. Except he's clueless about anything health related, which is why his story doesn't add up. He's weaving lies together, but he doesn't know what he's talking about, so there are inconsistencies everywhere.
It gave him an excuse to dip out of Zegama, and quite frankly he needed a break because he's burnt out and his wife's about to pop out another baby, but it still manufactures drama to keep his viewers tuned in. Even you guys who hate Seth got tricked into following along. His videos are boring as s***, it's just him stumbling around the house every single morning. That's not what keeps people coming back. He needs to create stories, and he got everyone on this one.
COMMENT OF THE DAY!!!! Getting back on here to remind all you runners out there.... Embrace injuries. Dare I say, love the injuries.
WHY??? Every injury, is a learning opportunity.
I know my DGR FAMILY out there wanted to see me shine at Zegama, be it a top 10 finish, or top 5, or heck even blow Kilian's CR out of the park. I know what you're thinking. Seth you dog you definitely could have done it. But boy oh boy if this hamstring didn't have different plans!
Especially as he seems to be unraveling slightly over the last few months it’s incredible he is still taking the time to set up and get all of those stupid shots.
You know a "creator" on YT is struggling when they do the "what do YOU want to see more of?" video.
I kind of want Seth to have a real injury going into Pikes Peak. Nothing serious, just something that slows you. I think he'd completely losoe the plot.

I bet the hamstring injury will make a reappearance for Pikes Peak
Oh man, I wish him the best, but today’s video got to me. 3 minutes of eating eggs at 4am, followed by his proposed lifting schedule. Seth, I appreciate your work… you can do better!
For sure. He likes that he never skipped the day, but he is going to turn off many viewers who will still remain as subscribers but don't come often to watch, because all the filler content that is not needed.
Somehow he is able to evolve as a runner quite well, but still makes that content making mistake. I mean, it's hard what he is doing with every day posting, but his viewers will not hold against him if he posts every other day and have more time for family, running and rest.
I checked out today's episode: 45 minutes of a drone following him on a trail run. Predictably, the Manson, errrr DGR FAM-A-LEE is all abuzz with platitudes about seeking beauty, how wonderful those trails look and fawning all over how inspirational he is. It is truly hilarious how they all believe that he actually suffered an injury. Must be eating dozens of eggs? Yeah! That's the ticket!

I liked the ambiance of that shot. Really cool. But Seth claiming to have 5 pounds of mud stuck on his shoes kind of ruined it a bit. I don't think he is that good with numbers (or training). Would be cool if he got a coach and a physio.

That footage the other day of him reading the Bobo's box in silence was riveting. The 6 angles of the eggs was also top notch. Him sitting there with his headlamp turned on around his neck is still the thing i look forward to the most when i pop in to scan one of his videos. The fact that he actually thinks about turning on that headlamp in a room already lit up just cracks me up. His chaotic brain is getting more and more unhinged.

Indeed. HHT has been the only major injury I've had as a 50+ runner, and it took me 6 months. For at least a month, my left glute/top hamstring ached so badly I could not drive a car without wincing, and that's with taking round the clock painkillers and anti-inflammatories. Took a long time to get back and walk longer and longer and finally running again.

Speaking of BACK baby, let's organize a Webb vs. Demoor BACK BABY challenge. What would be a fair distance? I think maybe 10K. The winner will officially be declared BACK baby.
I was thinking about how we could promote the sport. What about pay-per-view grudge matches? I'd pay a dollar (or two or five) to watch youtuber trail runners Sage C. and Seth D. race each other head-to-head up and down a (pick one) Colorado mountain. Make it "Chinese Downhill" style, anything goes to make it interesting. Both runners get their expenses, but winner takes the rest of the pot.
Can we please not mention Alan Webb and Seth DeMoor in the same sentence?
They’re both extremely delusional people who post made up stories on the internet - they are attempting to cause injury and death. They certainly belong in the same sentence.
The taste testing of the egg whites was like watching him wave the white flag. We seen him recently try to document a local race by barging in on the course with his bike, he was talking about coaching last month. The Pandemic induced interest in running is fading and it's all starting to get boring. All the pseudo enthusiasm and weird accent doesn't make the 498th shot of him opening his P.O box like he's curious what's in there and closing it again seem fresh.
As someone who's dealt with High Hamstring Tendinopathy watching him with this injury has made me start to question him. Maybe that's unfair, maybe it's not, but it just seems like the the Magic stayed at the Old House, the Old Shed, where it was all about the passion of running. Now it just seems different, grinding it out for the McMansion payments.
