It never ceases to amaze me how many ignorant losers with red hats are on these boards. Malarkey is a perfect name for you, you poor loser white victim of nothing
You are surprised that not 100% of the people here are not low IQ, extreme leftists like you?
Are you really so stupid that you don't think being overweight "existed 50 years ago". The new vision of thin being beautiful is relatively new. FFS learn something you silly troll
Being overweight and especially obese wasn’t an “epidemic” 50 years ago, even though it existed at the margins. Do some research clown.

By the way, over 50% of Medicare costs are associated w metabolic syndrome-related conditions, and fully 1/3rd from diabetes, most of which is type 2 owing to obesity.
As taxpayers who take care of ourselves, we have a right to be irritated. Clown.

Show us all the fat models and actresses from 1972.
I was ready to believe the titular claim as plausible especially given it’s a Fox link, but there is nothing about going after skinny people in that article, just campuses being more sensitive to the harms of fat shaming.
The two statements: fat shaming harms, and obesity is unhealthy can both be true.
Im skinny and fit and there is NOTHING in any of this that makes me feel attacked.
I can see how a snowflake or emotionally insecure person might. In which case just find your safe space OP.
It’s not about feeling attacked as a skinny person. It’s the overemphasis on “fatphobia.” Instead of promoting good practices that would’ve mitigated Covid deaths, would allow for “universal” healthcare and reduce the overwhelming burden on our healthcare system, & would see things like colon cancer, which is now happening even to young people at alarming rates, close to nonexistent, they want to make excuses for people who are overweight. You know, a “condition” that really didn’t even exist 50 years ago.
It’s entirely excusable and justified to be irritated w overweight people if you are a person who eats well, proactively stays in shape, and doesn’t overindulge in alcohol, drugs, or smoking.
It absolutely IS when the thread title reads “going after skinny fit people”

But how can I deal with the existence of fat people without getting to make fun of them? How is that fair? They are fat. Therefore, a joke. Stop trying to protect people's feelings. Feelings aren't important at all.
