Hey guys:
I have just recently increased my mileage to train for a marathon next spring. After a disappointing fall season, my coach and i decided that i was ready to move to a more lydiard style of training. I just ran 65 miles last week, most ever, and am feeling very run down. The pace of the runs haven't been that bad, in fact most of the runs are well above 7:00 pace (I used to run 6:40 pace for easy days). This week I am supposed to run 70, etc but like i said, i have been feeling very tired lately. I'm not sure if it is from finals week coming up and stress levels are starting to rise, a huge exam tomorrow, or if my body is still fighting a cold that i had 2 weeks ago. Right now i have a small sore throat, but have no fever, chills, aches, etc. My parents think it might be mono, but I doubt that. Just wondering what you people think. Also, I am planning to go to the doctor tomorrow just to get a check up. Thanks
