Old news
It's worth noting that most of the people getting the BA.2 variant are people who had boosters whose immunity is waning. In general, people who were infected with Omicron are not getting BA.2.
Isn't Canada going to allow for physician assisted death treatment for depression, PTSD etc..? Im not a big fan of legally offing people and a general disregard for life. Yet, here we have human experimentation making a comeback in good ol US of A. I guess the war news from the Ukranian front is slowing down.
Again, who's paying Pfizer for all this?
Source?
the boosters are never going to stop at this point, and only seem to be effective for a couple weeks.
going to be a monthly shot before we know it.
Let's do it this way, everyone who sees Fauci on TV has to get a booster. Everyone who doesn't watch Fauci channels doesn't have to get shots.
All the people who want to have to get shots, can go ahead and have to get shots. Fair's fair. You HAVE to get jabbed. I don't.
Does Dr. Fauci own stock in pharmaceutical companies?
Yes, he's one of their major players, along with his long time buddy Bill Gates.
One source of many:
How much are we paying out of pocket for boosters, anyway? Take all the time you need.
Fauci's National Institute for Allergic and Infectious Disease collects 50% of the royalties from the Covid vaccines.
We are paying indirectly through taxes. The money paid to pharma isn’t free.
I get the theory that Fauci is in pharma’s pockets and that he is the highest paid public employee.
However, I struggle to understand how Bill Gates has an ulterior motive to make money off the vaccine. He has more money than he could ever spend and donates billions.
Either way, I got the vax, but will not be getting the booster(s). I may consider it if some deadly strain pops up that doesn’t target the old and obese like all of the other variants. The science is now pretty clear that you are really only protecting yourself with the vaccine.
Oh my god! A recommendation....the tyranny!!!! How much more can freedom loving American's take then having to listen to recommendations?!?! Next they're going to recommend flu shots, and I'm going to have to decide whether to get one or not. this is outrageous!!!!!!!
The antivaxxx worldview continues to make no sense. They claim to hate Big Pharma. They accuse the industry of engaging in massive lies/cover-ups and prioritizing profits over people's health. (To some extent, all true.) But when it comes to an actual solution, the only idea they have is to send Fauchi to jail. We're not allowed regulate this evil industry or do anything that might have a negative impact on its bottom line, because that would be socialism. If insulin injections cost $1000 dollars a pop, that's fine. If getting sick forces people into bankruptcy, that's their problem. Fixating entirely on vaccines (which really aren't hurting many people) while completely ignoring all of the other massive crimes perpetrated by Big Pharma is actually beneficial for the industry. Antivaxxxers are essentially creating an ongoing distraction for them. "Forget about how we got millions addicted to pain killers, check out these dangerous anti-vaxxx loonies who want to bring back measles and polio." And it's working. Dems in Congress are trying to lower the cost of insulin and Republicans are blocking it. No outrage from the anti-vaxxxers! I guess Big Pharma is good sometimes!
The House of Representatives has passed a bill that would limit the out-of-pocket cost of insulin to $35 per month for Americans with health insurance. But, the legislation would not bring list prices down. Contrary to what many in the media say, as well as several top Democrats who support the bill, this legislation is not an insulin price control bill. Also, conspicuously, the bill does nothing for the uninsured. Two-thirds of the uninsured pay the highest possible price for insulin, which is the retail list price.
Moreover, pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and insurers may increase premiums, as an offset in response to having to cover more of the cost of insulin. In turn, on balance, this shifting of cost could undercut savings to diabetic patients.
That’s how it should have been from day 1. Masks and vaccines should be completely voluntary. You want it? Go get it. You don’t? Don’t get it. Both are valid choices.
I’ve never had a flu shot and will never get a covid shot because, in my opinion, the risk of severe infection and death for a healthy 33 year old with a strong immune system is 0%. And before people say, “you can kill others.” Well, if the vaccine works well and others are vaccinated then I will not kill anyone because they all have the vaccine and are protected. And if the vaccine does not work well, then why would I get it anyways?
Next.
Not super surprising. I get a flu shot every year to deal with new variants, and covid seems to mutate faster than the flu.
