VINCE MCMAHON ANNOUNCES NEW DRUG POLICY
November 21, 2005
In a joint meeting today with the RAW and SmackDown rosters in the United Kingdom, in Sheffield, Vince McMahon announced that within the next several weeks, a new drug testing policy will be implemented in which performance enhancing drugs, such as steroids, etc., recreational drugs, as well as abuse of prescription drugs will be banned.
In addition to the new drug testing procedure, there will also be an emphasis on cardiovascular examinations.
The specifics of the drug policy will be announced over the next several weeks. More details to follow.
This is because of all of the drug related deaths happening to wretlers in the sport.
Thats gonna suck. I'm gonna miss seeing trish's huge sexy tanned muscles

God knows it's not because of any worry about "fairness". I can never understand how people can watch that canned crap theater and think it's some kind of sport.
WTF? WWE isn't even a sport! Who cares if they shoot up on T.V. right before a match, the winner is already predetermined. The WWE should just be women wrestling in thongs and boobie tassles.
Yeah Right......Wooooooooooooo
I love pro wrestling as much as the next guy, but if they actually tested for steroids 75% of the wrestlers will be banned forever.
On a related note: McMahon also announced that the punishment would be a "No DQ, no exit, 30-minute free-for-all caged match involving all violators of the drug policy that week. Metal chairs, ladders, and hammers will be placed inside the cage at the start of the match and the contestants will be locked in until the 30 minutes are up"

Funniest post I've seen around here in a long time. Good stuff.
THE ROCK DAYS KNOW YOUR ROLE AND SHUT YOUR MOUTH
A very welcome move from the WWE. We can now be confident in the integrity of professional wrestling. Nothing sickens a sports fan more than the notion of a wrestling match being decided by anything but talent and heart. For too long, the specter of drugs has hung over wrestling and sullied its otherwise sterling reputation. I encourage other sports to folow the WWE's lead and take a stand against doping.
By the way, I can tell whether a guy is a doper just by looking at him.
British Bulldog
Crash Holly
Owen Hart(fall)
Mr Perfect
Eddy
Andre the Giant
Yokozuna
1 of the legion of doom
Brian Pillman
Owen, Andre and Yoko were not drug related deaths. Owen was an accident. People the size of Andre and Yoko have heart attacks. Andre accually lived longer than Dr's told him he would.
The list of wrestlers dying because of drugs is quite large.
It should also help to level the playing field in wrestling too.
Now wrestlers won't have to worry about a person using performance enhancing substances taking the most prestigue WWE Championship or World Heaveyweight Championship away from them.
there's a few reason for a wwe drug policy. first, setting a good example, something they probably don't care at all about. what they do probably care about is the health of their superstars, and that is probably their number one reason for enforcing anything. lastly, it's a fairness issue, what if u want to be a wrestler in the wwe, but don't want to take drugs? well everyone else who takes them has a huge (literally) leg up on you.
Whatever happened to Scott Steiner? He had some guns, brother.

Between the roids and carrying around massive amount of weight, the chance a wrestler doesn't see his 50th birthday is pretty high.
