how about losing the attitude??I need to be at work from 9-5 and I happen to not have very much to do. You are on the internet right now so what does that say for you?I can't leave the job, I gave a verbal 2 year commitment. Besides, i like the job and the people and do not want to leave.Lastly, sure, i could cut back on a lot of expenses... but the point is i don't want to. Its not like I live beyond my means, i'd just like to have a little extra spending money while saving for grad school. To everyone else... thanks for your suggestions so far.

Look at your expenses. Where can you cut back? I bet I could find some things.
Lastly, look for a hihger paying job assuming you have any type of education. Why is finding a new job not an option? Get real.
If you have been at your job for a while and doing it well talk to your boss about a raise. What have you got to lose?
