I love peg turbos but why tf would i pay the nearly 200 dollars they will undoubtedly charge me for this piece of crap literally made from scraps out of their garbage cans.
Youd have to be an idiot to buy into this "green"/"sustainable" garbage from major corporations. Theyre literally selling you garbage. Upselling, at that.
Should make a shoe out of recycled masks
Almost certainly fake
The Alphafly Nature has been on the Nike app for a few days, so this is likely real.
Loved both versions of the Turbos. Both had wonderful soles. The upper on version 1 was a bit too padded for my liking but I put almost 600 miles on that shoe. The upper on version 2 was nice and thin and breathable, but ripped after 250 miles.
Looking forward to this release, if true.
Do you have any suggestions for a Peg Turbo 2 replacement? They were my all time fav trainers, and I’m still bummed they’ve been (seemingly) discontinued.

I had both Peg Turbo releases and I have yet to found anything that Nike currently makes that is similar to how they feel. I will say that the Nike Pegasus 38 is a bit softer than the Pegasus 37 and they have been OK replacements, but not as good as the Turbo.
I have heard that the Turbo's were initially discontinued because they were lasting too long and expensive to make and therefore, they were not selling a lot of them. It had nothing to do with how they performed as a shoe.
A lot of people seem to like the Saucony Endorphin Speeds. To make an SAT problem analogy, it sounds like the Endorphin Speed is to Saucony's Endorphin Pro supershoe as the Turbo 2 is to the Vaporfly or Next%. It has Saucony's version of a supershoe foam and has a drop similar to the Turbo 2. It does have a plate, but I believe it's nylon fiber and more flexible than carbon fiber plates. I may get a pair once my last pair of Turbo 2s wears out, unless there actually will be a Turbo 3..
the new balance rebel v2 seems to be as close as you can get.
The midsole is made up of new balances super foam so its super light and cushy/bouncy but it doesnt quite feel as smooth as the turbo
Speaking of the Rebels, this leaked design sorta resembles the Rebel v1, and Lunaracer 3s. Or at least thats what the shoes look like to me.

I miss the Lunaracers so much. The first lunaracers had an amazing responsiveness and were FAST. The Lunaracer 2 had a better upper but they switched the foam.
I had the 3’s and 4’s and they were ok.
, but they were never as good as that first version.
I wish they would put out a 5th version, but lunar is a dead technology.
Ive had the og Lunaracer, Lunaracer 3, Rebel v1, and several pairs of Turbos.
I also preferred the og Lunaracer, nothing that came after felt quite the same. But the Turbo 2 is probably my favorite shoe.

I'll die on the hill that lunar foam was far superior to today's granite-like react.
Phylon, circa 1982, is the king of the hill and everyone knows it.
