have you tried applying DMSO for plantar fasciitis? if so, did it help or not? what brand did you use? if you had some positive impact, how long before this was noticed and what type of frequency in application did you use?
thanks.

DMSO has an adverse effect on tendons, they make them brittle.
It is also illegal for human use in some states.

I posted this on anothr thread but I have recently tried it. I applied it a couple times per day over about 7-10 days. During this time I kept training, which included running & cross training. I probably ran about 40 miles for the week with an additional 20 miles on the elliptical.
My conclusion was that it seemed to help temporarily reduce the pain but my PF DID NOT improve over the course of the week.
I just got some custom orthotics so I am going to give that a shot. Hopefully this will improve things!
I've used DMSO for several tendon/ligament injuries and I find it works very well. For quick relief, try crushing up aspirin (non-coated) and rub it in with the DMSO. It will pull the aspirin through your skin to the point of inflammation. Good luck.
I've been dealing with Plantar Facsitis for the past 3 weeks... Do a search for past postings... There's quite a bit and a fair amount on DMSO.... FYI.. I've been having really good results using the super feet insole.. It appears to be the magic bullet for me.... Good luck and quick recovery....
i tried the DMSO for my PF and haven't really noticed any improvements or the burning sensation some have described using this product, or the bad taste it allegedly leaves in your mouth.
2 thumbs down from my perspective.
