Niyonsaba and Mboma are some of athletics brightest stars but for how long?
WA seems to have left the door wide-open to slam it shut once more. Is the only option for these two, to slow down?

Or run in the correct category, they've got that option too.

Is Niyonsaba's only option to stop
The open category is exactly what it sounds like.
A simple category switch is all it takes to keep running/competing and rid themselves of scrutiny, controversy and uncertainty.
Men should not have the option to compete with women. Doesnt matter if they win or lose. That's a strawman argument, a distraction from the real argument that the woke heavily rely on.
Yes.
Male.
Female.
Open.
In open, you can pick whether you race with the males or females, and are accommodated as such.

Strawman? How's that again smart guy? The reason why winning matters is its just more noticeable and they are taking medals from someone. They shouldnt be allowed to compete with women no matter where they finish. I know almost nobody from any political back ground that disagrees.
In case it wasnt clear the strawman I'm referring to is "WA just doesnt want to let Niyonsaba win" and "they're not even winning why would you ban them."
The real argument is that they shouldnt be allowed to compete with actual women regardless of whether they win or lose.

Male Testicular production of testosterone equals male levels of testosterone.
Female ovarian production of estrogen and low levels of testosterone equals female levels of testosterone.
You don’t get high levels of testosterone with testes. Usually testes, two small organs, are located on the scrotum. However, with certain birth defects that can be located elsewhere.
If someone has male levels of testosterone that person has testes not ovaries.
You don’t get male levels of testosterone WITHOUT testes.
They only stop this nonsense when they're winning races or medals. When they're just participating, they don't do anything or care, but when they win a gold or a world medal, then they take action because they know it's unjust. Problem is that being reactive instead of proactive costs deserving women medals, notoriety, money and dignity amongst other things.
As usual, a great post on the subject by RunRagged. Clear, factual, rational, and compassionate.
Your posts on this topic are so important because after clearly explaining the science, you avoid belittling the unfortunate DSD athletes, while also defending the logic of why we have the female division in the first place.
Bravo, truly.
Niyonsaba and Mboma aren't the victims. The females that lose to them are the victims.

Women's sports were created to give female athletes a fair shot to compete and to excel. Not to serve as consolation prizes for males who had the misfortune to be born with certain male-only DSDs that cause them to have undescended testes and minuscule, missing or misshapen penises - or who have any other physical or psychological condition that might make them atypical for their sex.
This is all that needs to be said and should be pinned. Why can't WA just define this.
So there are more than two genders? Male, female, and..... both/in between. For everyone saying there are only two genders it does seem that we have biological evidence stating otherwise.

The spirit of your comment is well taken. But to be clear, people with DSD have an Endocrine disorder, just like any other patient should be treated with some realization that they need medical help. These few people trying to wedge themselves into the protected female competitions are giving a bad name to rank and file people with DSD that need medical attention for a real condition. Its sucks all around.
Niyonsaba will try to win as much as she can while it lasts, and she knows it won't last long. Then she moves to another event until it is restricted. (I like her sense of humor... high jump and pole vault.) She will be retired before CAS allows WA to restrict all events.
Mboma is probably too young to grasp the whole situation. And she is also too young to "run the clock" until all the events are restricted. I think she will lower her T with medicine at some point, and return to her best events. She could still make a decent pro career as a 50-flat 400m runner.

I'm sorry but it is all about making money for the DSD athletes. They are making money from the meets, tours, and their national governments. If they weren't winning the money they would not care about competing against biological women.
So OK... DSD's ... Semenya I am looking at you. Forsake all financial benefits and I would be happy to support you running against biological women.
