Most people have a slight limb length difference but this sound more likely to be hip related.
You might want to try hip rotation blocking in combination with stone cutter hip resistance strap for lateral strength/stability.
Other hip/ low back stretches will be more effective w ankle weights but added weights are not mandatory, only helpful.

Did you get vaccinated? Maybe you just need to get your chip looked at.
How's your balance? Can you stand on either leg for more than 20 seconds, what about standing on one leg with your eyes closed for more than a few seconds?
Yes heavy drinking can have bad side effects like that even when sobered up. Best way to find out is to find a chiropractor who does functional neurology.
