For once, Rosario had nothing to do with someone's poor form - Ryan Hill is a shadow of himself. He's permanently injured and needs to retire and move on. Sad to see.

He's 31 now, he's had a good run

Hill's goose was cooked by Schumacher, not the first not the last. Burns hot but not for very long. Time to get the CV ready and get a real job.

Maybe it never felt like a good fit. I'd rather an athlete leave an uncomfortable situation after a few months than sit with it for years and stagnate or regress, just to "give it a real shot". Beyond contractual obligations he owes them nothing.

yep he had a good run. qualified for 3 worlds teams (2 outdoor, 1 indoor) and won a silver medal indoors in the 3000, along with respectable finishes of 5th and 7th outdoors in the 5000. Solid racer to get those finishes considering his PR's were never threatening the world's best at either event.

Ryan tested positive for covid not long after moving to flag and never got back to 100%

Thought his move to NAZ was interesting. NAZ definitely seems to be more focused on marathoning than track stuff. Their track performances were flat out disappointing.

He's currently a volunteer assistant for NC State so probably being coached by Geiger right now

Coming back to say I didn't know he ran 7:30 for 3k that's actually pretty solid. Still seems like he's been pretty quiet since 2016

I don't think any of this is really news. I thought he had disappeared from NAZ right after the Trials. He does not appear anywhere on their website and hasn't for a while. Want bigger and more recent news?

Ali T is MIA. Not with the team in any sense other than picture still up on the site. Look at the training logs. Hasn't run with them at any point since the Games that I can see. Look at the planned races. Nowhere to be seen. Don't think she's even in the same State, much less in Flag. Not saying any of this is good or bad, just saying.....

Good find. Seems to have made a point to wear NAZ gear for the pics, so seems to be on board with Ben and the gang. Bummer she can't bang out a fall race to get Tokyo in the rear view. Then again, she's still listed on their site, so I guess that means she hadn't really disappeared, unlike Hill, who has.
