I have a marathon in 5 weeks. I have a great base, have run a few 20+ milers in the past few months, and have been racing shorter distances frequently. But I have yet to really do any big marathon workouts. I don’t plan to really taper other than taking week 5 pretty easy. My shorter distance times would indicate a 2:35-2:40 marathon.
What should I prioritize for the next 4 weeks in order to get as close to 2:35 as possible? What workouts should I do? I’m legit just going to put this in the hands of the LRC’ers and see how it goes. Thanks in advance.
