Hi,
I got COVID tested last weekend (was required) and it was negative.
I ran a lot over the weekend, including did a long run/workout in 80 degree weather, which made me have a bit of a headache after and tried to hydrate. On Monday I felt really good during my easy run. Tuesday was a workout and I felt bad on warm up but had a really good workout! Hit faster than all my times. Then Tuesday night my sister texted that she had a sore throat and I kid you not, an hour later my throat felt ever so slightly sore on one side and I had some light pressure/ache in my head on the same side. I've been drinking so much water and trying to get a ton of sleep. It's Thursday and it feels exactly the same as Tuesday night. I have no congestion, runny nose, aches. If anything, I just felt a little tired for the first half of my run today. The only bummer is I have a race this Saturday that I've been waiting for and am wanting to do really well. Ugh. Great timing. I'm still hoping it goes away by Saturday, but if it's not there, has anyone ever run (raced) through a sight sore throat? I'm guessing I'm just run down. It could also be allergies of some sort....
