Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby on Thursday morning confirmed an explosion outside the Hamid Karzai International Airport, where U.S. troops are manning the perimeter and thousands of Afghans are desperately trying to get in.
“We can confirm an explosion outside Kabul airport. Casualties are unclear at this time. We will provide additional details when we can,” he posted on Twitter.
Nothing the US can do. Biden has done all he can do. Our bigger problem is lack of vaccinated people. Quit trying to distract.
And Biden's approval rating is now tracking somewhere between 41-45% depending on the poll. Down significantly over two weeks ago. He's got a lot more room to run to the downside.
Remember when everyone was super mad at Trump for how he treated our European allies because he asked them to commit more to their own defense rather than the US continuing to protect them, or he made kind of awkward comments to the French President. Orunelected socialist leaders in Belgium wagged their fingers at him because he pulled out of climate change accord that didn't actually do anything but hamstring the US economy, that Obama and Friends made at their treehouse sleepover in between chapters of goosebumps stories.
I think our allies are starting to wish for the unpredictability of the Orangeman over a senile old fart who strands their citizens behind enemy lines with no warning. Don't worry gang, normalcy is back and everything is good now that the Orangeman is gone.

Why is the usa still occupying Afghanistan? Thought they wanted to leave. If Afghanistan military would accupy jfk airport the usa military should use all force to defend their country.

Just a couple of the 5000 Taliban prisoners Trump released carrying out suicide bombings, just as Trump planned after losing the election.
So, we need to reverse course and start up the drone strikes again because that will keep civilians safe from suicide bombs.

We’re seeing the unfolding of the worse president since Jimmy C. The historic parallels are uncanny.

It’s not that getting out of Afghanistan was a bad idea. But it’s how you leave that matters. Not letting a terrorist group take over the country in a matter of weeks sounds like a good idea. Not getting Americans and Afghans who supported Americans out first before the terrorists take over is a bad idea. But the thing is the dude doesn’t seem to care. Talk about shady.

How many Americans have been killed in the evacuation so far? Zero? Do I have that right? And we've been evacuating 10s of thousands of people over the last several days, far more than the critics thought possible? So what's the scandal here?
None of the liars and naysayers want to acknowledge the reality, which is that if we stayed, we would have required a significant troop surge to deal with the Taliban tidal wave and the bloodshed would have increased tremendously. The people lamenting the pullout are, ipso facto, mongering for yet more war, more dead American soldiers, and more money stolen from American taxpayers. We've already been of robbed trillions of dollars by the military industrial complex for nothing. Thousands upon thousands of Afghan civilians have been getting killed annually during our occupation. And for what? It's enough! When the war hungry mainstream media whining ends and the dust settles, Joe Biden's approval rating is going to be just fine. He stood up to the "deep state" and put America first, finally.
CIA knew ISIS was planning an attack in Kabul. They just didn't know where. They actually thought it was going to happen yesterday (25th).
