They fail to make me laugh.
Making fun of 20 year old women who are happily married and not drinking or smoking or breaking the law, is quite disgusting.

not 20, older
but clearly we are talking about the age gap between the other schools' distance runners
so does your comment indirectly say that younger distance runners smoke, drink and break the law!?
young distance runners does not pull a sha carri
Maybe u havent noticed, most d1 runners hate byu, in case u dont have instagram
especially what happened in the outdoor snz

Clueless BS. The oldest runners on their women's cross team graduated HS in 2016.
Same year as Clairmonte and Henes for NC State.
They were 5th year seniors who red shirted one year.
The NCAA has many 5th year seniors.
Wayment was also a 5th year senior who did not redshirt XC but did redshirt track.
No. The average age on the women's winning team last year was 21. They are the same age as their competitors. It is disgusting to have middle aged men insulting young married women.
Jesus it's just a joke what's wrong with you. But BYU's top five are a little bit older than your average college team. Pretty sure every one of their better Runners is going to be at least 23 or 24 this year. That's a little older than most teams
A bunch of really good Runners on n c state are all going to be 19 and 20 this year. so there is a bit of an age Gap and the fact that they're married on top of that
But hey good on them if they can have a happy marriage and take the kids to soccer practice and still the NCA Champions on top of that , that's awesome
Amazing they can find time to run with all that praying and church and marriage, but apparently they do
Look guys there is an invisible man who lives in the sky. And we have to keep in touch with him by talking quietly to ourself with certain code words
The Invisible Man Loves code words.
I don't know why this is so hard for some of you to understand. There's a giant Invisible Man who lives in the sky.
And if you talk to him really quietly using certain code words he will grant you favors. No he won't cure kids from getting cancer, or intervene in things like the Holocaust or the slave trade
But occasionally he will help with important things like winning a sports competition or helping you start your car if the battery dies
Anyway no idea why people choose not to believe this obvious fact about the world...
With that said I believe in not drinking or poisoning yourself in general. But probably better not to do it because you've been brainwashed into a ridiculous Fairy Tail
I always picture him like a marshmallow man, or the Michelin Man. Is this accurate? I always picture him as being inflatable, but still invisible. Does that make any sense? Well I hope that's not rude or anyting just the way I picture things. I agree that God seems to really have a talent for helping with the little things. Like if you lose your keys or you can't start your car, in those cases God is good. But for big things like war and slavery... well, I just think he does better with helping to start cars, that's all....
Guys I started this thread in the hopes of a lively discussion. I was really hoping everyone would pretend they were a honey badger surrounded by hungry lions. And they would create each post as if they were a honey badger or wolverine fighting for survival. Please keep that imagery in mind as you discuss any topic.

It's been awhile since I have read the rules so I hope this is accurate.
NC State will get 20 points taken off of their team score, 4 points per runner, due to their age.
Also I guess BYU completely destroys the lie that caffeine is beneficial for runners. Those Mormon babes are kicking butt without any stimulants coursing through their veins. Yeah caffeine is a nasty drug anyway, you just made it to feel normal really quickly after you start using it
BYU should get the handicap for being married with children all while going to college full time and winning a national championship.

Uhhh, , didn't you get the honey badger directive about this thread. This response hardly invokes a feeling it was written by a honey badger. Maybe a mongoose or a few wandering baboons separated from their Troop, but nothing like a honey badger. Can you rewrite it with the proper imagery in mind

Anyone who tries to disparage one individual or group or prop up another based on things that don't matter such as age, looks, or marital status really has very little to nothing to offer.
Better?

BYU Vs NC State is a great battle. BYU is composed of middle-aged married women, while NC state is a fun-loving group of unmarried young ladies. It's really a contrast of two different worlds colliding.... it'll be interesting to see if those young soccer moms from byu can do it again
The byu runners age jokes never fail to make me laugh
Have you considered developing a more sophisticated sense of humor?
Well no one even mentioned looks , so you just made that up
But it's just funny that's all. Usually when you think of a college team you don't think of a group of married women. It's just funny that there best Runners are all of 23 or 24 and married
No one's putting them down it's just a funny contrast
I'm sorry to break it to you age personal appearance and marital status are pretty important categories in general in life. I mean obviously they don't matter for your ability to play college sports but to say they don't matter in general is kind of silly...
Anyway if you re-read the comments there was nothing negative or No Malice, you're just putting a spin on it that it was meant as an insult it was just a contrast between two different programs. Being a soccer mom isn't a bad thing it's not a negative anymore than being a fun-loving college girl is negative or positive. They're just different classifications,
I guess I'm trying to say just like beauty is in the eye of the beholder your sense of insult or compliment is very much in the eye of the reader in this case

Have you considered commenting on the idea of God as an inflatable invisible Michelin Man? I think your talents would be better Suited weighing in on that mixed metaphor. Leave the Comedy to the comedians
I did not infer anything was negative, just that it doesn't matter. The NCAA does not adjust team scores for age, marital status, looks, shoe brands, or anything else. How team members place in the race constitutes your score - period. Comments about anything else such as yours above gives the appearance of trying to change the narrative and that comes across, at least to me, as petty and immature.
BYU's team is freakin crazy good looking... they have no worries in that dep't...

The BYU jokes just sound like idiots rambling when they aren’t backed up by facts. None of the girls from the XC championship team last year served an LDS mission and I don’t think any of them have kids. They are all in a normal age progression for NCAA athletes. I think maybe one runner from indoor served a mission and is older than normal.
This year there will be a few with 5th year eligibility due to Covid, but that is not unique to BYU.
