Just announced in a press release.
I am rooting for her, but i think she is making a huge mistake.
I am predicting, she will get three me, but none of them will be gold.
three medal, none of them will be gold
Wow. I think she's capable of winning all three if her rivals mess up.
Prediction is a medal of each color.
1500-bronze (beaten by Kipyegon and Muir)
5000-silver (beaten by Tsegay)
10,000-gold
The schedule is not that bad.
She has had some rest, gets the 1500 heats and 5,000 final morning and eving Monday. An easy qualifier shouldnt do anything to 5000 chances
Then she has a 1,500 semi and final spaced by two days each, backed up by the 10,000 on Saturday
Extremely do-able

She must be feeling good if she's attempting the triple. It probably all depends on how the races play out. If they're all hard and honest, she's in for a world of trouble.
My predictions (and this probably bodes well for her because I'm often wrong):
1500m - silver 🥈 (Faith)
5000m - silver 🥈 (Tsegay)
10,000m - silver 🥈 (Gidey)
The triple is not even bad, she runs the 1500m to qualify as easily as possible then that night she runs the 5k, if she bombs out the 5k she has plenty of days until the 15 final, then the last day is the 10k

Such an arrogant dumb decision in the heat and it will backfire. Have you seen the schedule, the 1500 heat tomorrow morning, two days til two deep semis. Her heat has lemlem, Hull, Purrier, and Guerrero. Lucky to have the luxury of 6+6 to go thru.
This is almost an admission of PED use. Not sure why she would make it so obvious.
Grow up you silly little cretin.

Esther Guerrero will not cause Hassan to over-exert herself in a 1500 prelim. I think Hassan might actually pull it off, but I hope she doesn’t because she strikes me as a blatant doper.
Honestly, I’d rather she came away with zero medals, and maybe a positive test as well. I’m predicting she’ll win golds in the 5k/10k and silver (behind Kipyegon) in the 1500.
If Siffan was running for Ethiopia this thread would have a whole different tone.
She was an average runner until she joined Alberto Salazar who has been banned for drugs.
Salazar is also the same guy who turned Mo Farah from an Also Run crap athlete to world best. Until Mo was 27 he did nothing on world stage. After 27 he joined Salazar and became an unbeatable number 1.
I have no respect for Mo or Saifan. They're using drugs the drug testers do not test for. Exp;piing loop hole.

You can say that again. Her Dutch nationality often has people here describing her using sympathetic, humanising adjectives, often emphasising her femininity and delicate emotional state while Ethiopian and other African women get dismissed with a blanket drone-like label.
Thats not true is it now sifan joined alberto in 2016 in 2014 she won the european champs and she won world bronze 2015
I think she can still win the 10,000.
1500 and 5000 will be tough.

Fvcking liar, you are. In what world is winning bronze at Worlds and making final after major competition final "average"?
come on ......she used to get smacked by the Dibabas and other Ethiopians. If she was lucky she got bronz. Now, she ismassive odds on to win anything she goes for. HOW? why does this happen after these athlets go to he USA?
She was not a world beater before going to USA and joining Salazar, FACT!
Now she's juiced to the eye balls she can attempt something that HAS NEVER been done, 3k, 5k, and 10k. A treble. Some of the greats in the world could not even do the double.
Same for Mo Farah - He was not TOP 5 athlete all the way to the age of 27. He could not make it out of the fuking heats in 2008 in China FOR 5K OR 10K. He could not even line up in the finals. This is a fact. He then joins Salazar and starts to train in the USA. Dopped to the eyeballs and was UNTOUCHABLE.
America made them great hahaha wink wink
USA is doping meca of the world. The best trainers have substances that the testers don't even know about.
Again, since your dumb azz doesn't understand, Hassan was never an "average" runner. She has been top 5 in the world for more than half a decade and since well before she joined Salazar. She made a jump w/in that elite space, true, but to assert that she wasn't already elite before NOP is simply a blatant lie.
She's also retained her form since Salazar's banishment.
