The wind prediction for this evening is 7 to 9 mph from the north-northwest, according to the National Weather Service. Here's the track, from google maps:
https://www.google.com/maps/@45.4850421,-122.7670864,233m/data=!3m1!1e3The straightaways are pretty much due east-west, so even if a breeze from the NNW is a noticeable, it won't be in the runners' faces much.
Still, 7 to 9 isn't perfectly calm, so it could eat into any attempt to set a record.
But the conditions overall do seem pretty good.

I haven't spent the time searching for closer reporting site on the weather.gov site...and conditions can vary locally...but it looks like the temperature will be a bit on the warm side, and the wind might be a negative factor. The wundermap reporting stations in the area show less wind -- either no wind or else between 5 and 10 mph. It will still be a bit warm, but cooler by a few degrees from what the National Weather Service says, and temps will continue to drop, anyway, as the sun gets lower in the sky.
So, fingers crossed, and maybe things will be OK for Centro, who is more than familiar with running in similar conditions, and worse.
