Wow!!! It will take another WR to win gold. This event will be one of the most anticipated races of the year.

An old doping record finally wiped out of the books.
A record that's stood for almost 30 years. M 400H in Tokyo continues to shape up as must see.

You must be British understating like that!

It looks like Grace peaked a week too late.
This shows how running rounds takes it out if you. She could have run this last week if she only had to run one race like today.
So she didn’t peak to late, imho.
Agreed

Tokyo 400mh will be exciting for sure

Wow, I’m usually only exit about distance races. But this year I’m excited for every event in track and field on men’s and women’s side.
These T&F athletes have putting on a show this year. I can’t wait for Tokyo.
Got to break the WR in front of the home crowd.

In the mile, can Musagala go from not a member of the sub 4 club to NR holder: 3.55.38?
Not too shabby. Too good of a 1500 runner to not be a four minute miler. NR was 50/50 call.
Maybe because I've just returned from Eugene where the action was fast & furious everyday, but I wasn't too fired up about this one. Totally exceeded my expectations.
Yeah, I had zero hype for this meet but it turned out to be good quality. The women's 5k was exceptional with four women under 14:30, and the WR to cap it off. Not bad for a midweek meet after a bunch of national trials
Colin Sahlman runs 1:45 and Nico Young runs 1:47 in the 800m tonight at the Desert Heat Classic
