I've been curious about Ron Warhurst's training so I went through Mason Ferlic's Strava and formatted everything into a Google Sheet (linked below). There was a thread a few months ago that touched on Warhurst's training a bit (also linked below), but I wanted a more holistic view. As was mentioned in that thread, Warhurst seems to focus more on quality reps as opposed to set recovery times, although there are usually general patterns throughout the workouts. In keeping with this spirit, it was a bit tough to deduce exactly what paces his athletes run their reps at, i.e. VO2max, mile pace, etc., and so unless it was obvious I didn't denote that. Generally, it's pretty easy to guess the effort level based on how much rest is given. As I said, this was taken from Mason Ferlic, but I believe that the rest of the group (Hobbs Kessler, Nick Willis, and others) follow a pretty similar schedule, at least as far as the high-quality workouts go. I really enjoyed putting this together so let me know if you have any questions or suggestions and I'd be happy to answer them. I'll update this every now and then until the Olympics (if he makes it).
