This is it. Many things will be answered in this 5000 on June 10.
Who is the man in the 5000? Does Cheptegei get beaten? By whom? Will it be fast and will Jakob break 12:50?

Our friend Mohamed Katir is here = This is the unknown variable here.
BAREGA, Selemon = seems in low performances all the last year
IGUIDER, Abdelaati = This one I know he is a bad kicker even if he spend 20 years training
MCSWEYN, Stewart = Good but not Top runner
INGEBRIGTSEN, Jakob = The day of truth
CHEPTEGEI, Joshua = The only way for him to win is a fast 5000m so he can play on his endurance
EDRIS, Muktar = This is the man I want to explore more and I hope he will be in his day.

Ah yes ignore the 12:47 man

Based on his recent 7:33, I don't think Cheptegei is at the top of his game.

Wait a minute. Tell us more about exploring M-bot!
I never said I know every runner in that list.
I commented for those I know the most.
Conseslus Kipruto is racing the steeple. I guess he got out of trouble -

Women’s 1500 is pretty sick here, too. Hassan vs. Kipyegon vs. Muir vs. GDS vs. Hailu.
Muktar Edris is one these runners that dont appear too much in meetings.
But he has 100% efficiency in the official great events.

I think he is in much better shape than 7:33 if he isn’t trying to run the WR.

Lol. And hilarious "Good but not Top runner" description for McSweyn, who trounces everyone in this field in the outdoor 3000m other than Jakob.

Actually Gebrehiwet has run 12:45. Okay, he has a kick but is he good enough?
Imagine being a 12:47 world medalist (who is also sub 27) but always getting forgotten.
Almost as bad as the LR podcast episode where one of the JoBros called him "the other guy, the world finalist."

Eh, hard to say given how it was paced -- 7:20 pace for the first half and died. Probably means he's in the 7:25 - 7:30 range if he didn't go out way too hard.
Going to be a great race!
The four Ethiopians in this 5000 are backing up after selection trials in Hengelo.

He may not have "died" but rather eased it in a bit once he fell off record pace. I doubt that 7:33 means anything much other than he couldn't break 7:20.
The Ethiopians have their trials on June 8th (Unless they changed the 5000 to be this one) WHAT A GREAT RACE, All That is Missing is Kiplimo, The Americans have their Trials the following Week.
If Chep wants it, and Gold, too, he better go from way, way out. Jakob better stick with him.
But we all live in Edris' world, and he's not always okay with that.
McSweyn is pretty good. He hasn't run a fast 5000m yet, but he ran 7:28 3k last year, serving as de facto pacer after 1800m, I think. 7:28 is pretty sharp. There were many years there where no one beat that time. Hagos beat Ingebrigtsen in that 13:02 in the kick. Should be a good race. I don't think Cheptegei is very close to 12:35 shape but he is in 12:50 shape, maybe better, based on targeting 7:20 and then dying to 7:32, which is about 12:58-13 shape. Should be fun.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
