Wow. With a better turn she might attack sub-49!
Who cares. It's normal.
Wow a 49 second 400 meter dash. Big deal. If she actually knew how to run and relax her arms completely she would be running 46s.
Based on your previous posts I don't think you understand how the arms should move during sprints.

There should never even be a back swing. Her hands should never drop below her upper chest.
Back swings are for the year 1909.
I hope you have someone in your life who can help you find your way back to reality, man. Its clear to all u are unwell.
The backswing is important, the upper body counter balances the lower body, the arms must mimic the legs.

It's a discussion board and we discuss so relax.
I don’t think he needs to relax at all. Negatively commenting on a female runners appearance after running a collegiate record is garbage behavior. It’s not a “discussion”.
We need to start calling this garbage out as a community if we ever want this place not to be a toxic dump.

1) Pretty sure one can comment however they like about media stars. That's been always the case.
2) People everywhere and here have always negatively commented about female runners. Clearly recall the even more negative comments about Dafne Shippers. What makes Mu so special that you're all of a sudden not allowed to comment on appearance? You know this is just going to make things worse right?
3) Are we only allowed to comment on a males appearance? Are females not equal to males? I see people here are having a fun time poking at Jakobs appearance for example and the mods love it. Is there different rules of making fun of someones looks based on their origins?

She's actually quite photogenic, much in the way a dark skin East African models would be. There's a great market for her if she gets some good handlers.
She has the aesthetic for NY or Paris fashion week.
Exactly. She has the look and the height to go on the runway.
100%. She can easily transition to modelling whenever she decides. Dinka models have a strong position in the global fashion industry.

Yeah it’s true.
https://media.vogue.co.uk/photos/5d54c19c999dc6000852419a/master/pass/12-18adut.jpgAdut Akech has been the biggest model in the industry the last 2 years. She has modeled for every major fashion designer and tons of Vogue covers.

https://emirateswoman.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/duckie-thot-emirates-woman-january-2020-cover-star.pngAnd Duckie Thot as well. South Sudanese women are blowing up in the high fashion industry, with other names coming up behind them.
Athing Mu may not be a blond blue-eyed girl with an Anglo-Saxon name but she has charm, she has a likability factor to her that is hard to teach. I think her marketability will be super high. Sky’s the limit for this young talent!

There is plenty of toxicity, if it's too much for you then move on...there are moderators here...this board does a good job of policing itself

Looks like the trials schedule sets up for a 400/800 double. Would love to see her try.
She said she's definitely running the 800 at trials but I think she should run the 400 so she at least could get into the final and onto the 4x4 team.

She's not photogenic enough to ever become a highly marketable athlete like Suzy Favor Hamilton or Flo Jo. Sucks that she has all this talent but not the looks to really make a lot of money off of marketability potential.

She should really consider some serious speed work. She is prob doing 24 low and using that strength to pull this off. With her stride and getting down to say 23 low she has 48 mid 400.....then she has ability to smash the 800. Hs dudes with low 49 can hit 1:49-51
But then again she gets speed to run 48 mid will she do the 8?
She split 23.5
She is running PBs with little drama. I think her coach has it under control

ya, half the posters (prior thread) had Mu running the record time withing a tenth, meanwhile,
there are people posting, that she needs to do speed work after a Under 20 world record in a long sprint. AND that her 200m time is 24 seconds, without bothering to look up her PR of 23x from years ago and the obvious 23x split in here record performance.
says it all, about half the population will say and do things on the basis of ideas formed prior,
and avoid seeing what is there in plain view. and also throw basic logic in the trash, like saying a person that averages 24x for 200m for 400m, has a pr of 24.
they should designate posters and people with this type of iq for work in the salt mines,
ship em out.
for my money
Mu is the first female athlete that demonstrates no very obvious PED use (beard, voice, extra non running muscle development) with real talent in middle distances, and a rare bird in the long sprints as well.
super intriguing,
she can run a 430 mile and probably closer to 420, and that combination with a 49 has never been seen. zero.
we are talking WR in the 800 for sure unless there is some kind of disaster.
WR
but don't put that pressure on her head.
leave it in the peanut gallery here as long as possible.

I agree. You’re apart of the negativity.
Myself and another poster (board members) are policing you and another inappropriate poster at this time. We don’t approve your behavior, and we believe it contributes to a toxic community. Knock it off or move on.
