Isn't that how everyone breast feeds down under? Something to do with the Coriolis Effect.
Her picture screams "look at me", regardless of her actual intent, and now she is just all butthurt because not everyone decided to pat her on the back and say how great she is. If you are going to seek attention then probably need to have a thicker skin...

I meant by "look at me" that it was purposely designed for attention seeking. If her so-called intent was to celebrate motherhood, she could have posted a simple picture of her nursing her baby like everyone else and no one would have made a peep, but then she wouldn't stand out would she?

This thread is worthless, just like Australian Winter Olympians are worthless which is why she's more influencer than successful athlete.
Gotta admit that I was thinking “lucky kid”
is this fox trying to get people in to an outrage about being outraged again?
seriously they have nothing to do
cool for her. her name became slightly relevant again for a brief period of time. nobody cares about her or fox or the fake outrage.
and agreed a picture is something to look at - if you're the subject in a picture then you're literally saying look at me.
people get way too offended.

Totally agree, I have no problem with the picture and it's a story about an almost nobody to fill column inches. My point was simply she put that out there and then was offended because of some negative backlash, it's social media she needs a thicker skin if she wants to play the game.
Let's be clear about one thing. No one knows her intent except her. Do not think for her. Do not speak for her. She is a strong, independent woman, and can speak for herself. If you choose not to believe her, then fine. But I will not stand by and allow you to mansplain others of what her intent was!

Lol brilliant! Um she explained her intent in the article doofus, I ain't inferring anything
Are you kidding me? You think I'm actually going to read a Fox News article? hahahahaha

True, I feel bad for clicking on it myself!
Save yourself then, regardless of intent, if you post on social media you need a thicker skin, the fact she had to come out and clarify her intent is proof that it obviously wasn't clear to offended minority who threw stones at her. All I said is she needs a thicker skin cos there are people out there trolling instagram for pictures like that just to get all offended by...

Even if they didn't realize they were being photographed?

Yeah she likes the attention. Any publicity (good or bad) is good for some people.
This thread is useless without, erm, more pics.
I sent it to a friend who is still breastfeeding. She asked me if there was any chance the woman was trying to make a political point. She liked it but only wished she'd captioned it: "A trans woman will never do this."
Well, I can relate to the baby. I had to do the same thing this morning when I didn't quite have enough milk for my Raisin Bran. I had to turn the milk bottle upside down to let every drop drip right out.

The gratuitous dig against trans people seems uncalled for. Is your friend JK Rowling?
I think it’s actually possible for trans women to breastfeed though. Not sure on the arm stand though, but probably possible too.
The photo is brilliant. Considering that birthrates are crashing on every continent, any and all pro-fertility messages support our species' survival.
