In eighth grade, I had no one time me. I ran the 100m outside my home on a street. Answer the above question. I ran a 14.5 second 100m as an Asian male in 8th grade, and I'm wondering what my time would have been if I had someone time me.

Probably a fair bit slower as you no doubt started the clock moments after you started off and no doubt ended the clock before you actually crossed the line. Also, you undoubtedly measured the 100m incorrectly because you're in 8th grade
You mean, what is the intrinsic time?

Indeed. Way to go! Keep up the ambiguity.

You don't have any doubts about those 3 statements?

LOL
Some runner-developer needs to create an app where the phone can measure 100m based on the camera image and provide FAT timing. The running community is a failure until this is accomplished.
I used to use a hand held stop watch to time my intervals. I would think that would be easier to use than a phone.
It's great that you want to run. ignore the grumps here. However, self-timing with a phone is not accurate. For a proper 100m time most people don't even really trust a coach using a stopwatch as reactions times will be inaccurate. Also, holding your phone will slow you down. Find a 100m track and get some more accurate times, then work on speeding up.
