LMAO
1) Obviously kids don't have autonomy and wouldn't be punished for refusing.
2) I don't hold any stock (aside from index funds) in any of those companies, I just am a technooptimist!
3) You fundamentally misunderstand observational data - it's been a pattern this whole time. In this case, we have segments of the population that been wearing masks for years and there is no evidence of long term health issue. This is not anecdotal nor am I making casual claims. It is merely evidence against your hypothesis that masking for long periods if bad for your general health!
Japan is great example! They rolled out testing super early, had aggressive contact tracing, and good messaging about high-risk activities (crowded, indoor spaces - avoid at all costs). This allowed them to prevent the initial surge and the imposition of strict lockdown measures! The US could have dont this if we didn't sit around performing a few thousand tests in the entire month of Feb 2020! But... at least you admit some places did very well at mitigating the spread!
Moving on... your continual assertion that no mitigation strategies worked in the US requires you to explain why we had distinct surges in US cases over time. What was changing that caused the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th waves. What caused the cases to drop in May 20, September 20 and March 21 only to rise again the next month? Florida, Texas, South Dakota, California... they all show increases and decreases. Surely you don't think those patterns are "unmitigated viral spread?"
