I’m happy I got the vaccine. I have an autoimmune condition which makes COVID a very scary prospect for me.
However I am interested in other people’s experiences especially with running. I felt fine on warm up and first mile or two. Hit me like a tonne of bricks miles 4-7 and I dropped out. I was hoping to have a sensible discussion with people about it.
The silver lining: The more marked your response, especially to the second shot, the more "prepped" (against SARS-CoV-2) your immune system is likely to be.
Anecdotally, some exceptionally healthy people seem to have some of the strongest reactions to the shots--again, esp. the second. However, the responses of people healthy and not, fit and not, young and not, have been all over the map.
