I would guess close to 200mph. I'm not someone who has access to fast cars, nor do I really know anyone who owns fast cars, but I still have ridden with someone who got their car up to about 130mph briefly, and we saw a cop literally like 3 minutes later. I am a pretty normal guy and have gotten my own car up to 120mph on two occasions. I would think quite a few people have driven in excess of 150mph and gotten pulled over. Now I want to know what it is.
350 km/h
If it was over 200mph then how the hell did the cops catch them? They have good cars but they're not suped up like that.

I already gave the answer. It was 248 mph. I think the car was a Koenig or something like that.

Let me rephrase the question.

They have helicopters that can track them and even multi-agency offices that can track him.
I didn't ask how they could have caught them, I asked how they did. Seems you don't know.

camera?
they don’t need to pull you over to give you a ticket.
that is another possibility, but again it seems nobody knows. A mystery!
Maybe they drew a fake road on a rock, coyote style. You can still write a ticket to a burning corpse right?

I know this is not it, I just wanted to write the number.

This is phrased in a way that makes it look like you question that it was possible to catch them.
Besides a helicopter, a cop can radio ahead to other cops.
If a cop comes at you with lights on, you then have to make a decision if you want to add a charge of attempting to elude the police.
There is no charge for successfully evading the police.
My college coach once did successfully evade the police in his Porsche.
He was flying down a back road when a cop put its lights and pulled onto the road.
My coach turned up a long driveway and hid behind a barn.
He said he waited hours watching police drive back and forth until he felt it was safe to leave.

Probably a lot slower than somewhere in Europe because the roads are so bad here.
Maybe 153 mph?
It’s a big country and Europe is more congested.
There are some very good roads to speed in the US.

You were overridden by a 350 mph Darwin Award winner.

Make that mph and you are the winner!
long stretches of flat open roads, the type needed to hit a speed like 200+, have markers used by aircraft. they time them from one marker to the next and then do the simple math.

If you were not too lazy to read through the replies and my replies to them, you'd see I am not questioning whether but merely how they caught them, which is the word I used.
And those replies don't suffice! Yes there's cameras, there's coordination, and so forth. That doesn't always work. Check youtube and you'll find it never works against skilled bikers. They make videos of themselves getting away just for yucks. A fast car should be able to lose cops before they can even call their chopper.
So this is a mystery, and by showing the OP doesn't know the details, I have cast doubt on the very substance of the thread. I demand the OP show proof of all the claims made so far.
