I'm assuming that someone with administrative privileges changed the title. Kind of childish, but I guess par for the course.

I really dislike when this happens. Cokmpletely changes the tone of the thread.
why the hell would they change the title to this? If you want a thread about BYU girls at the Fresno relays, start a thread about the BYU girls at the Fresno relays. Don't use your admin access to hijack a thread about something else that someone else created it and rename it to be about what YOU want to talk about. That's not what a (good) message board is. If you don't want people to be able to start their own threads with their own topics, have a blog or something where you can just write about whatever you want.

lol everyone on the thread and other west coast relay thread knows who won and how many byu women won but we all seem to not care
Agreed, this is so Dopey! What relevance is it that BYU is awesome at the 1500. The fact is Katelyn Tuohy is improving a lot and running time she hasn't approached for 2 years. What difference does it make what schools the runners who beat her ran for... I guess most of those BYU Runners are probably 22 23 years old
let's run should realize that probably 10% of the people on this board or only here cuz of Katelyn Tuohy.
Anyway just curious is Hannah Steelman fast at shorter distances. What do you guys think her and Elly henes can run at their best for 1500 m?
All BYU's Runners were Juniors and seniors. And the crazy thing is they're juniors have been running since 2016 in college
I guess some crazy redshirting going on.
It is called perspective.
the admins and mods are just absolutely terrible here. as usual. HANDS DOWN THE WORST PART OF THIS SITE.
Other News: Krissy Gear looked great running 4:09 and out kicking Whittni Orton.

Ok, let's talk about the 4 BYU Women.
Orton we all know, but for a refresher ran 4:29.8 (mile) and 8:49.6 (3000) in early 2020.
Hoj Indoors ran 4:31.7 (mile) and 8:56.9
Camp Indoors ran 4:33 (mile) and 8:52.7 though technically was only running XC
Hunter ran 2:07 and 4:37 (6th at NCAA champ I think)
Tuohy ran 3:24 for 1200 on DMR and 9:20
So, BYU is good, but I would say given this perspective Tuohy is now running in some good company, even in an event which does not play to her strength.
Yes, perspective. It is like a HS boy running 9:20 and his local paper goes crazy in an article not realizing that 4 guys from a single school beat him in the race.
Perspective would also include that she is running against runners who graduated high school in 2016. :)
Anyway a runner that quite a few people here were over eager to dismiss or discard is running very well her true freshman year, is healthy and showing excellent promise, and is already approaching her PRs. Seems like a positive thing to point out.

Um, no. Not the same. Most successful high school runner ever (people are naturally interested in her progress) vs some mediocre high schoolers. Not the same..at all..
I don't think I have ever seen a poster dismiss her. I have seen some say that she is running her high school times and they don't expect improvement. But that would have her being a multi-time AA.

yeah except this is not an article. it is a forum with people discussing a person they are interested in vs not discussing people they are not interested in.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
