Yes. Herndon Stadium is available, but I suggest the USATF book soon.

Boise, Idaho
In theory saying “Idaho” sounds like you could run a big meet with fans, but the local Boise government has been very restrictive. Boise won’t let local HS athletes participate in meets bigger than dual meets (until State) or let them travel out of state. Arcadia was out before they decided on their own not to let out of state runners come. It’s why you won’t see Nathan Green at any big meets until after the HS season is over, assuming he wants to at that point.

As far as I know, the best track stadium in Atlanta is at Emory. I think ATC hosted a pro mile field there a couple years ago, but I doubt they would be able to host the trials tbh
Georgia Tech
Wallace Wade Stadium at Duke WOULD have been a great place if they didn't renovate it and take out the track. 40,000 stadium capacity. It hosted NCAAs around 2000 or so. NC weather in the summer is not perfect but should be better than Austin in June.
What about Franklin Field in Philly? 50,000+ capacity. Not sure how bad the Covid restrictions are right now, however. I remember they moved the Army-Navy football game out of Philly due to the restrictions in December.

Apparently the governor didn't get the memo: You don't mess with activity on the Phil Knight Track at Nike Stadium. Who do you think runs Oregon, anyway?
Phil should have paid for the track himself. It was built for the WC with taxpayer money, and that's already not happening. Noone will care if Nike cries about this.

Georgia Tech
I've worked meets at a few Georgia facilities. GA Tech, UGA, and Shorter. All three are nice facilities but none have much spectator capacity. I would estimate 1500-2000 tops at GA Tech, even less at UGA. If the idea is to find a facility to increase the number of spectators that can attend, Georgia is not the state.

LOL, I really hope this is a joke. Have you seen that place in recent years? If they ever need a stadium location to film a post-apocalyptic movie, Herndon is the place. They wouldn't even need to bring any props, just leave the place as it is.

that said, I think things will change pretty rapidly over the next 2 months and hopefully Eugene will be fine. We're still only a couple weeks out from vaccines being open to everyone.
Who is eligible in Oregon? Vaccines have been open to everyone in CT for a full month.

Anyone over 16 is eligible everywhere.
Have them at MT SAC as it was supposed to be originally.
June 18-27 in Eugene is almost two months away. I don't anticipate any lockdowns in the U.S. by that time.
Big lockdown? I guess you didn't really read the fine print?
Restaurants in the affected counties won't be able to offer indoor dining. That's the most significant change for the average person. Large gatherings were already limited, as they are throughout the vast majority of the country.
Nike $$$$$ will make it happen, clown. They didn't build Steroids Hayward to not have that bad boy showcased to the nation tuning in for the OT.

With cases on the rise this is a big test of the extent of vaccination programs and infection-driven immunity. You'd expect hospitalizations and deaths to stay quite low. Fingers crossed.
You don't need to move the Trials, two months is a long, long time on the vaccine and infection timeline.
Uh huh...suuuure...remember the 3 weeks to flatten the curve mantra? That was 14 months ago.
Ya Rojo, not one good track in the whole state of Georgia, a state with multiple top universities—idiot.
Wrong. Statewide Hospitalizations (over 300) is what triggered this and restrictions will be lowered when they get below 300. Then the number of cases (almost all the British variant) determined the county by county status. Predictions are this will peak in mid-May and then decline and the current expectation is restrictions will be much lower by late June and possibly eliminated by July. And outdoor dining is alive and well even now. Also, the stupid mask requirement for outdoor HS track was dropped with some restrictions (have to wear until race starts...). Finally, Oregon has the fewest deaths per capita of any state, 1/5th of the rate of the worst state New Jersey.
Atlanta Track Club doesn't do track and therefore shouldn't have the word in their nomenclature.
Atlanta Road Club?
Atlanta Peachtree Road Race?
