Saw this on NC State schedule. Some good distance matchups if they all show.

There's actually a guy named Angus Beer? That's like a sign you'd see outside a steakhouse!
Oh, he's from Australia. No explanation needed.
It going to be 93 in Fresno on Friday and it can get windy there at this time of the year.
Hopefully I’m wrong and will see some fast times.
Meet schedule? I have to work but want to know when the big races are to know if I can watch on my break or after work.

Can't find a schedule yet, though at some point it will probably be on NC State site, or perhaps Fresno State site. Flotrack starts at 1 pm wc time.

Racing a 10k at 7:30 in the morning will be tough.
I say all finishers get a freebie on negotiating commitments,
I’ll be hard to run sub 28 at that time in the morning. Maybe Young and Nur will prove me wrong, I hope so.

It was either that or run it in 90 degree weather. This is what athletes and coaches asked for.
Sprinters, jumps, throws love warm weather.
Perfect conditions for the majority of events and the ones people care about.
no touhy, is she injured?

Tuohy is on the 1500m start list
Interesting that most of BYU's best distance guys are running the 1500m. Mantz and Clinger haven't run a 10k yet so guessing they'll be running it next weekend in Eugene. With the mile time at altitude Clinger put up last week, surprised he's gonna run the 1500 again. Also surprised Mantz isn't running the 10k seeing as a lot of the NAU runners will be there.

yes, if you want competition, this seems to be a meet where you can find it to get a good time.

Mantz is running the 10k at the Sound Running invite on what I believe is May 15th.

High of 95, wind 6-12mph.
I remember when Chez was a Oregon he and his mates ran a 10k just fast enough to get the NCAA standard. They didn’t race the field they just ran laps fast enough to get them the standard.
I’m thinking that the NAU guys may do the the same thing at WCR this Friday.
There is no fast enough. 20 guys could run faster next week.
Most teams practice early in the morning during the week.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
