All runners should lift. Injury prevention, better form.

just curious for some athletes I work with. If you should even focus time on that vs just running more or if it could lead to more injuries due to fatigue
If you have time definitely do it if you don’t have time do hill sprints and other hill work, hill work is like lifting but more running specific.

Cant argue with this unless an athlete has a glaring weakness or imbalance which might require intervention.
