Damn right they comin back. From a professional perspective, they have huge potential, especially with that falcon kid, my guys have told me falcon is comin back different senior year, we could see sub 4:20s all around from the class of 2022

It’s their lack of success that’s finished. They will be in the hunt for a national title in 2023.
Was their coach the guy who wore the pink shirts?
All due respect…don’t tell me to have a 500+ dual meet streak when you’re not a public school.
such a hollow record
If they face Union Catholic in a dual meet, that streak is about to go down.
Most of their wins were conference wins against public schools. They will be a top ten team this year-along with Union Catholic. But there is no sense debating it now, just wait to the end of the season.
Both teams will be top 10 nationally next year as well. This year UC will be very young, lead by junior Wischusen.
CBA actually will have a real shot at winning NXN in 2023, just like they did in 2011. The massive graduation at Newbury Park will leave room for more teams to win the national title.

CBA will never be finished.
here are the teams that are finished:
Great oak
newbury park boys team (after this year)
fm (boys at least)
burnt hills
Agreed, having once run in Monmouth County, compete against CBA, and remained local, CBA has been consistently great. Although having highlight years such as the early 2010s, they are one of the few teams in the country that are always up there. The occasional NJ team will challenge them like Bosco or UC, but CBA and other programs like Carrol and American Fork just have insanely deeply and strongly run programs. I remember this page and other ones like it popping up last year and it was kind of crazy. UC’s team last year was amazing. One of the best in NJ history, but CBA was still right there. Even up until this season people really believe that UC is the next CBA, which could be true but I just think there are some programs that won’t die and if they do it won’t be one season, it’ll be a slow progression out of the limelight. Teams like Newbury Park and Union Catholic are great and some of the best, but they are thrown into relevance and can quickly fade out of the public eye once a few key kids leave. At the Bowdoin Classic today this showed. UC’s Wishuchsen was amazing but did UC really have that deep or above average team behind him. Who knows what will happen but I think it’ll be quite a while before CBA dies out and becomes just an average team

UC was missing a transfer Saldana who would have scored for them well. CBA still would have crushed them. I think CBA’s speed ratings put them top 3 in the nation now. They were better than Herriman’s and Jesuit LA’s for sure. It’s been a long time since Jesuit OR raced, but there seems to be a big drop off between their 4 and 5 but I can see that gap maybe closing by the end of the season. A lot of good teams had big 4-5 gaps. Loudoun Valley in 2017, FM boys in 2014 and Cheyenne Mountain last year at Runninglane.
Last year Bishop Hendricken crushed CBA at NXR.
They did lose 4 varsity guys but look what they returned:
Their #1,3,4 guys (all seniors) and 4 other guys that ran just over 9:00 in the 3k. I call it depth.
I haven’t seen any results from a full-strength Hendricken yet.
The reason why Newbury park and great oak will fade is because they lost a great coach. The new GO coach has never coached before.
Loudoun Valley was the best in the nation when the Hunters were the coaches. Now they are average because they have a new coach.
Herriman and Jesuit LA used to be average but now they seem to be teams that will always be up there. That’s because those teams got new coaches. The coaches wanted to change the culture for the better which is why these teams will be doing so well until the coaches leave.
CBA’s speed ratings are better than Herriman’s and Jesuit LA / OR’s.
This actually puts them at #2 nation based on those.
CBA is deep. 1 through 7.
If Newbury Park didn’t exist, CBA would have had the potential to repeat the 2011 at NXN this year.
It actually doesn’t surprise me that CBA is so good this year. They literally only got rid of one person. If you only lose 1 person and are in a program this strong, chances are your team is gonna be extremely good the next year.
Even last year CBA wasn’t bad either. With only 1 senior.
CBA always seems to do a great job at reloading. In 2015 they finished near the bottom of NXN.
but in 2016 they finished way higher than that even after losing many seniors.
National title is and always will be their goal every single year, no matter how elite other top teams in the nation are

Yes it is solid. But there are hundreds of teams across the country who are faster. CBA is a dynasty. They now are slower than random teams from Iowa.
It must also be over for Sioux City North! Defending Iowa 4A XC State Champs!.....bunch of scrubs barely breaking 10:00!!

Sioux City North had good teams in 2020 and 2021 but it’s a once in a lifetime experience for them.
They just had a lucky group of runners those years.
Dowling Catholic is the most dominant team in Iowa and always will be as long as Ives coaches.
CBA is so good i heard they were tempoing too, nick sullivan said after the race he could have gone a minute faster.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
