Anyway....do we know if anybody has heard anything today re: acceptances?
some folks on FB are saying they are being charged - a real charge, not a pending transaction
Screenshot please

I typically don't say this, but I cannot wait to be charged.
Very true about it not always being easy to link USATF course certification to an event. The Boston 2.1 Marathon in Fredericksburg Ohio was held on 4/11/2021. The prior race was called Boston 2.0 Marathon and was held on 10/18/2020. The USATF race certification lists the course as Boston 2.0 Marathon. By changing the race name to 2.1 for 2021 the race director made it harder to find the certification. I could not find any detailed information on the race website regarding USATF certification. I think all races should include the USATF course certification code and a link to the certification on the USATF website where ever they post that their race may be used as a Boston Marathon Qualifier. This course was certified on June 26, 2020 and does not expire until Dec 31, 2030. I don't know how often big races may recertify but in the case of this race the certification is good for over 10 years.

Conversely, my pending charge is no longer showing on my card & did not go through, which I'll take as a sign that I am not going to be in.
I registered at BQ -4:25 for anyone keeping track.

I don't think it means you're not in. From the registration e-mail, that charge goes away no matter what:
"Your credit card has been authorized for payment, and if your application is accepted, only then will your credit card be charged the non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferable entry fee. You may notice a preauthorization draft on your credit card statement. This authorization will be removed within seven to 10 business days. "
Thanks for pointing that out, that's helpful!
Did they say how much of a cushion they have?
Doesn’t mean anything, they do a pending to make sure your info is correct. I know people who have a BQ -15-20 minutes who had the same thing happen.
Just got my acceptance from BAA. Haven't seen a press release or anything. Was 29 minutes under
Just got my acceptance email. I was BQ -13:30ish.
Same as above. BQ -26
In at 28 minutes to the good
In at BQ -17min!
Just received my email confirmation of acceptance from BAA. I had a BQ-22. Just wanted to throw it out there that people should start hearing. Best of luck everyone!
In at BQ minus ~16
In at BQ -31. Email arrived at 12:02 mountain time.
Wow. Glad you guys with -15-30 BQ’s could report. Just squeaked in there.
In at 20+ for M70.
Will be my 7th... including being just before the Finish Line in 2013 when the two idiot brothers set off the first one.
Also terrible weather years of 2007 and 2018.
Hoping for a beautiful Fall day and a special event regardless of the circumstances.
Hearing reports as low (?), slow (?) as 11:41 under have been notified.
Hopefully their doing the multiple day rolling situation the RD mentioned over the weekend.
In at 11:50 under. I think I'm in the lead right now for closest margin.
In my defense, my BQ time at 42 is the same as it was at 27. So much for aging into a few extra minutes.
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
