Watching the NCAA tournament this year, they said something along the lines of BYU cant play in Sundays due to their religious affiliation.
How do runners get around this? I am assuming they run on sundays.

No.

They do not train on Sundays (at least the LDS runners).
They do their long runs Saturday night since they can't go to parties, drink alcohol, or engage in intercourse
There are other runners such as Nick Willis who dont train on Sundays last I checked.
The coaches don’t hold official practices or schedule workouts for Sundays, but individual runners can choose to run on Sunday if they want. They probably would not have access to facilities, but they would not get in trouble with team rules or the honor code for going on a run.

This is correct. No coaches even bring up the issue of training on Sundays because almost all team members are LDS and won't be running anyway. If you aren't LDS and are on the team and you go out for a run on Sunday no one is going to say anything negative about it.
The myth that they never run on Sundays is the same as the myth that they never run while on their mission assignment.
Were you really spotted hanging with Hunter Biden?
There is no "breaking news" in this LDS sponsored article but I found it interesting.

I mean, half of them have strava. are you saying they just don't post when they run on sunday?
There is a HUGE snitch culture at byu. They probably bury their Strava and drive to another state for their Sunday training in order to avoid getting ratted out and a trip to the bishop's office.

It’s a mix. Some run on Sunday, some don’t. A few run on missions, most don’t. Probably none have ever trained to a significant degree, but there is a huge difference between a few 30 minute runs a week and absolutely nothing.
If you disagree with those takes, please own up to the fact you are just making assumptions and wild guesses based on what you would do.
So BYU can't play basketball or run on Sundays. Are they allowed to eat and use the restroom on Sundays or do they just lay in bed all day?

Many BYU students go to Vegas to get secretly hitched for a weekend or few months so that they can have guilt free sex before mutually divorcing and going on their merry way.
Also there is the "Wendover Wedding Weekend’. The couple zips over the border to Wendover, get hitched and then have sex all they wanted back at BYU. Still live apart and if they are caught, they are ‘legally married’. Then file for either an annulment or a divorce with a cheap lawyer after a bit and then go find another partner to hitch up with.
Is this actually true?
None of that stuff is common or accepted. It is like the Catholic girl that only does anal. They are out there but pretty rare.
Everyone knows someone who knows someone who swears their sister’s roommate has a second cousin who knew a guy who did it. That’s how common it is

Everyone knows about it because it is VERY common.
I run for UVU and hardly anyone here runs on sundays. Coaches can get kinda annoyed too because they love to throw the book at us on Mondays. If you're not LDS it's still smart to train 6 days a week just to match everyone else's schedule

No they go to church.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
I’m a D2 female runner. Our coach explicitly told us not to visit LetsRun forums.
