Ruben Roman, the 21-yo man who is suspected of firing the shots that night, is now out on bond. The "Chicago Community Bond Fund" paid $40,000 to put this piece of trash back on the streets.
“We often prioritize cases that are connected to social justice movements – especially the movement to end police violence,” said Keisa Reynolds, who currently leads the Chicago Community Bond Fund.
“We made the decision to post bond for Mr. Roman because we are aware that the city will continue to use him as a scapegoat for the killing of Adam Toledo, which was committed by the Chicago Police Department,” Reynolds said.
De Mar asked Reynolds if there is a certain type of charge or crime they won’t support. She said the crime committed does not factor into the decision on which cases to support.

Yes. Virtually every shooting is of a violent criminal whose death made life for the living safer. Somebody who was going to be killed, raped, robbed, or beaten up next week will now not be attacked. It is extremely rare when an officer shoots an innocent person.
And we rely on the police to decide who is innocent, not the courts.
I thought the court system was systemically racist? You idiot liberals can't get your talking points straight.
Maybe tell these scumbags not to pull out guns when dealing with the police and they wouldn't have their day in court. Just a thought.

More an implosion than a thought.
He ran around with a gun & resisted arrest. He got what was coming to him.

What is implosive about the post to which you responded? You failed to substantiate your mere assertion. A very high percentage of high-profile cases of alleged police misconduct involved a miscreant disobeying the police, resisting arrest or even attacking the police.
Eric Garner (31 prior arrests) - resisted arrest, even swatted the police away.
Michael Brown (after making a videotape showing him roughing up a convenience store clerk; you can see another videotape allegedly of him below) - attacked a police officer.
Jacob Blake (under restraining order with a warrant for his arrest) - resisted arrest, fought with police and had a weapon in his vehicle.
Adam Toledo - had a gun while fleeing police and refused to drop it until about 0.9 seconds before he was shot.
Here is a video allegedly of Michael Brown:

Lame response, yours - that always seeks to justify resistance to the police and escalation, to the imminent danger of all, by criminals. When would-be police killers are defended, your society is in terminal decay.
I am not claiming Garner was a would-be cop killer, but the other three easily could have been.
Great interview with Steve Cram - says Jakob has no chance of WRs this year
