Honest question. Do you have any idea how nuts you come off? Im sorry mate. Life is about results. I think Trey has quite a few more results than you. You can not run anything fast. Why do you post on letsrun

And if I wanted to I could run a mile somewhere between 4:25 to 4:35 within a few months training at a full 210-215 lbs.
If you want any respect on this forum, the feat above is the one that you need to go after.
Nice try in trying to get me to do distance running again.. I'm not doing anything over 60 meters.
I am not even kidding see a therapist. You come off as very mentally ill/psychotic. You likely have a major personality disorder

Think about this for a second.
Hardee basically did sprint training his entire life.
I have done 10ks, 5ks, miles, and 400 training from 1993 till 2015 and he still can't even come anywhere close to my deadlift PR and bench press PR and we are both at similiar body weights.
There's a reason why people who do distance their entire life never really lift that much weight.
Look at Nick Symmonds. He can barely deadlift 370 at only 37 years old and a full 185 lbs now.
I might have way under estimated just how much weight I could have lifted by now if I had done sprint training from 1993 till 2015. I might have had a 505 bench by now at 215lbs and upwards of 745 on deadlift at 215lbs body weight.
Hardee can't compete.
The only people that can now compete with me are NFL running backs, wide receivers, and tight end Vernon Davis.
Welcome back, it's been a while.

You know what? Damnit.
I meant 746 lbs not 745 lbs.
At least I’m glad to see you are just trolling us, and you really aren’t serious. Because that would be a little scary.

This is funny to listen to now.
Yeah because you know I just basically spent 22 years running 1600s, 5ks, 10ks, 800s, and 400s for you to say that. Yeah absolutely zero experience in distance running.
Makes sense.
On a side note just got 585 up for 1 on deadlifts at 6'0 and 216 lbs on a stiff olympic bar. And did that after doing seated bench press, squats, and hack squats.
The 585 on that bar is the equivalent of 620 for 1 on a texas deadlift bar which they use in powerlifting competitions.
Yeah but Trey Hardee can compete. Keep on thinking that.
Sucks that i'm just literally this much stronger naturally and this much of a greater all around athlete at 41 than Trey has ever been at 31.
Can you post the video of you running the 400 meters while your cousin is cheering you on and your mother or aunt or whoever is filming? Its pure gold, and I think anyone who has endured the rest of your thread should get to see it.

The fact that I have him beat in every single lift in the gym negates anything he's accomplished on the track.
Seriously? Do you realize that Hardee was TWICE ('09 and '11) World Champion in the decathlon? Plus he has an Olympic silver medal?
Here's some training updates.
585 for 1 on a stiff olympic barbell at 6'0 and 216.

465 for 1 on paused hack squats at 6'0 and 216.
Equivalent of 545 for 1 at the top of the mat. There's less leverage at the bottom and harder to do.
On an Icarian hack squat machine. I get exactly 80lbs more up at the top of the mat.
Also tougher to pause it than to bounce it.

This makes no sense to me. The second 10 yards of a 20 yard dash should be faster than the first. Do your 10 yard dashes start with a flying start?
John_James_413 wrote:
Ran 4 or 5 runs at .79 in the 10 yard dash. My PR in the 10yds is .75.
Then did 2.00 in the 20 yard dash, which was right outside of my PR of 1.94. No wind at all. In about 62 degree temps.
The .76 hand time add in works out only on the first 10 due to my consistent .76 of a second slower hand timing.
But yet again i'm doing that .76 of a second without factoring in that i would probably a conservative .20 of a second faster with a good start out of blocks so technically it might be only a .56 but just going with a full .76 add in on all of my hand times because I don't want to be over estimating any of my sprints.
Also on video I do a hand swing before I actually move my lead foot off of the ground so that's why alot of the people hand timing me are .20 slower than they should be because they are hand timing me from the arm movement while my feet are still in place on the starting line.
So yeah all of my 10s are around 1.60 actually and not .75. But I just go with the hand timing to make it simple.
On a side note Hardee can't compete.
Tell your friends

Let's play the image comparison game some more.
Here's some current pics from this week at 41 years old and 6'0 and 216 pounds.
Sucks that i'm just this much naturally stronger than Trey is at a full 10 years older than he was in this pic huh?

Also does Hardee pause smith machine calve raise anywhere from 475 to 545 pounds ? Didn't think so.
Why don't you find a competition where you can demonstrate your superior athleticism. Until you compete again others, you're just blowing hot air.
This is definitely best of LRC material. Keep it up. Everything about this really embraces the essence of the LRC board.
Have you ever considered getting ankle surgery so that you can get those tenths of a second in the 35 yard dash back? What about the other trillion factors?

You got 585 up, with straps and much hitching. Worthless when I was powerlifting.
I used to do it for 6 reps at 214, smoothly with no straps (same type of bar).
You talk about going over 700. I can tell you that there is a huge gap between 600 and 700.
I did 600 for laughs many times over many years, but only briefly peaked at over 700.
The problem people have with your claims is that there are so many disclaimers and conversions involved. For example, in reality, you simply can't bench heavy weights.
At least 19 people out of 20 would find Trey's physique more impressive for what that's worth.
Run a FAT 60 or 100m to gain any sort of credibility.

Did you also do 22 years of distance running from 1993 till 2015 before you started your sprint training in Jan 2015?
Also have you done 200 pounds with ONE arm for 5 FULL reps on the smith machine bench press?
Here's like Treys max for 5 full reps. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAH
And the greatest part about this is i'm even over this weight now. Probably could do 210 for 5 reps with ONE arm at a time on this now.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VrHRcQwTmDcThe best part about this is I actually have videos to back these claims up. You don't.
And I did that deadlift after a few other things in the gym.
Look, I hear you in some respects. I used to laugh that pro hockey players at the gym who were known enforcers would struggle benching sets at 155-185, but they were successful in their sport and were paid millions.
You can't keep going with all the disclaimers, at some point what you can do is what you can do.
It's great for an older guy to work intensely and test yourself, but put away all the excuses and get into a FAT meet.
BTW I wish I had some videos of my lifting, it would be funny for my kids to see as I was unrecognizable while lifting heavy. In those days you had to rent a camera and get it converted onto VHS. I did get my picture in the newspaper squating close to 700 lbs at age 19...
