What are the odds of having fall Marathons like Columbus or Indy? I'm working hard and doing 45-55 mpw, and base-building for Pfitz (18/55) in June. Goal is 3:00 flat.
If the government decides to shut things down in the fall due to the "virus" that will be a gut-punch and morale killer.
I know more are getting vaxxed and things are improving weather-wise but can you trust the government? And most people are very obedient and won't question things either.
Yes you can trust the government. Read some Hobbes & Locke. Yikes.
Anyways, there are races happening now. Maybe they'll look different or scaled down in the fall but there should be plenty of options. Advice is to sign up now because races are filling a smaller number of spots, and to be flexible. Maybe your race gets cancelled but there will be something else around the same time that you can hop into.
You can also find nearby states and race groups that have been putting on events now so you know that there's a strong chance they keep holding events.
