He makes the asinine quotes at 8:50 in the video. Says he was running 10.9 in middle school and also says high schoolers are running 9's. I seriously doubt this guy has that much speed left in him. He wasn't even all that great at college football.

Who the hell cares? Even if he is delusional there are so many people like this that it is not even noteworthy.

It's important because he has a huge platform and only contributes to the misogyny plaguing our culture.
I believe he is referring to lebron who is 35 and 250, Tatum is 33 and probably not 250,

I thought you yourself were contributing some pretty misogynistic and racist things to this forum recently? I'm confused by this change of thought.
I don't think lebron 10 yrs ago goes sub 12.5 from blocks
I'm sure he could get between 15s and 20s with a small amount of training.
However he should be challenging male,. in which case the performance is laughable.
None of the disrespect shown to professional athletes - especially sprinters is ever surprising.
We can't go a single NFL season without some fool claiming they could legitimately compete with elite sprinters. I will never forget Chris Johnson of the Titans claiming he could go toe-to-toe with Usain Bolt based on his 40 yard dash time. Comical. The latest is Tyreek Hill making it sound like it would be a piece of cake to come back and make an Olympic team - and sure he was a legitimately good sprinter at high school but this was years before he put on the weight needed to be an NFL player and the years of getting bashed around a football field. Again, delusional.
So some idiot on a podcast getting excited and claiming he could beat the likes of SAFP or Elaine Thompson or even the best the US has to offer, is not shocking at all.
Absolutely agree.
he'd do it in about 22 seconds if hes lucky.
Football Players are athletes. Sprinters are just ex-football guys who couldn't hack it....and thus are not athletes....
Same for Soccer and distance running.....
If a sprinter/distance runner could have made it in a sport which actually requires athleticism....they would have $$$$$
Track/Running is a backup sport!
Shots Fired!!!!!

My senior year I (a 400-800 sometimes mile at the time) runner was challenged to a standing start 100m race by the fastest guy on the football team. I guess the idea was “our fastest guy can beat their fastest guy” as I was one of the front runners in the MVP picture for that track season. It’s funny cause I was our number 1 in the 800 and possibly the 400 and up going into the season but honestly kind of useless in the 100-200.
Anyways, 11.8 to 12.3. I won. There was a tailwind. People just fail to realize that football fast isn’t track fast. I played football until 9th grade competitively and was always top three if not first when it came to conditioning and speed drills. My first year of XC and track the goal was not to be in the bottom quarter of finishers at meets.
I think Tyreek Hill would be a D1 class sprinter now, and I don’t think he could get any better than that considering how much football impedes mobility over time.
Hill has some legit track cred. 2012 World Junior Gold in the 4x100.
10.19 100m, 9.98 with a +5.0 wind
20.14 200m
All as an 18 yr old.....
I think Hill could have been something special on the track....but Football is more lucrative.
Alan
Also these discussions are no more delusional than the farce that is Joe Falcon benching anywhere close to 300 .
Alan
Most sprinters have never played football, and
99% of football players are to slow to consider running professionally.
Some also consider not playing football because the don't want permanent brain damage.
But hill was a talented sprinter and maybe could have been successful in track.

That's a lie. Just about every HS sprinter I've ever known was on the Football team. If they sucked at football then just stayed with track, but typically track is used as conditioning in HS for other sports. Obviously this isn't the case at the top level of either sport but Hill isn't the first sprinter/Football player.

Do you have any problem with misandry?
By nearly every objective measure that we argue (correctly) that blacks are underprivileged, we ought to conclude that men are underprivileged to women.
Suicide rates
Extreme poverty
Incarceration rates
Disparity in sentencing
Homelessness
Life expectancy
Etc etc etc.
Here comes Trollism to 'accuse' me of being an incel....
A black guy claiming he can run as fast as a world class female sprinter is proof of endemic misogyny.
Meanwhile women in media regularly make jokes about men being castrated, men being ***** in prison etc.
Sharon Osbourne made a joke about a man being castrated and the world laughed. Sharon Osbourne said she doesn't believe Meghan Markle and she gets cancelled as a racist.
Saw some clip of him performing in the red overalls. Just beats and yelling. No actual music whatsoever. Also, there was one time on MTV where I saw a bunch of kids basically worshipping this crackhead. Wonder what they think of their false idol now?
I've been listening to oldies and music was so much better before. DMX was music to beat the mailman to, so I don't mind him gone. His sounds made the world worse.
I don’t understand why the football vs track thing comes up so much. The answers are just so obvious to me.
1) There is a small subset of football players, many of whom have track credentials, that could cut it as world class sprinters. None of these athletes would likely be top of the heap, challenging for Olympic medal caliber 100-400 guys.
2) There is a much smaller subset of track athletes that could could cut it as professional football players. None of these athletes would be seeing any time in the NFL and most would max out as an athletic oddity on a practice squad.
3) The era of dual athletes like Bullet Bob Hayes etc. is over given the degree of specialization needed to be successful in each sport. I just don’t see any way that someone could balance the mass and 60m type explosiveness needed to be a professional football player with the moderate amount of speed endurance needed to be. 9.6x-9.7x 100 meter guy.
4) There are no other cross over sports. No, an NBA player can’t just jump into the HJ or LJ. There is enormous data on this to make this statement somewhat definitively. Hell, I was a better HJ in high school than Vince Carter and I was certainly nothing special. No, a soccer player could not jump in and compete in the 400-800 at a world class level.
5) The only reasonable example of crossover in this day and age I could see happening is lineman to shotput. This one seems doable.
As to the source of this thread. Clearly this moron would have no chance at competing with top women. To even consider this is absolutely delusional. He’s a total lard-a$$ and clearly isn’t particularly bright.
