I have a goal of running 1:28 (female) in the half on October 15th. I was in good shape about a month ago and had a couple of good indicators with a 67 min 10 miler and an 18:40 5k. Since then I have not been able to run regularly due to an infected toe from an in grown toe nail. My longest run was the 10 miler a month ago.
With only 2 weekends left to get ready what is the best plan of attack. I was thinking of running 10 miles at 7 min pace to assess fitness and then maybe a 12-15 mile run the week after at an easier pace.
I am looking for ideas on what to do the last 2 weeks. I run about 40 miles a week.
