Yeah, it reminds me of so many of the witnesses that can't recall what they told investigators in past months and need to look at the written transcripts to "recollect" what they had previously stated.
I think you meant to reply to Armstrong.
Agree. Yeah, I'm sure the guy is fine when it comes to medical knowledge, but to try and claim he understands "simple physics" as it applies to forces and pressure...and then make a mistake in a PREPARED slide about simple physics...no, he does not know about that stuff.
From the guy who thinks there is no such thing as pressure per square inch, this is rich.

ok smart guy, what is a deadly amount of pressure per square inch that needs to be applied by one's knee? Wouldn't that amount of pressure leave a mark or sign of pressure?

Didn’t you hear? Pressure per square inch DOESN’T EXIST!

Hard to tell if you are trolling or you just really don't understand simple physics, but in either case...
Pressure is measured in (for example) pounds per square inch. It is a measure of force over area. The quantity "pressure per square inch" is a meaningless comparison.

It can’t be meaningless - it doesn’t exist!

Well at least we all know which one it is now...jajaja.

So you really have no idea what you are talking about?!??!?
oh dear, baa baa wool really is thick.
he gets the armstronglivs award for today.
To be totally fair, pressure persquare inch could exist, its just useles and noone uses it.
Pressure = force per unit area, so you could like all units, multply it again, to make pressure per force per unit area,
Pressure = N/mm^2
unit area is mm^2
So you could have n/mm^2 / mm^2
But it is meaningless, not what he meant, and at this stage, he has absiolutely no idea what i am talking about or what i am doing. Nor, i guess does A. But maths and phys and engineers do.
if i have made a silly mistake then i am sure my math or phys tutor will shoot me.

Sure. You can combine any random units you like and say they "exist". But to say you understand "simple physics" and then put "pressure per square inch" on a slide...that you prepared...for a MURDER TRIAL...that's just dumb or at least sloppy and does not show you understand "simple physics or forces and pressures and so forth.
I just put the trial back on, and it looks like I missed the cross examination. How did the defense do with the doctor/physicist guy?

totally agreed, i was just being pedantic in case. baa baa wool hasnt a clue what we are talking about, nor has armstronglivs.
As you say; if you are going to be an expert witness at a murder trial you have got to be perfect in everything you pretend to be an expert in, and he clearly wasnt = reasonable doubt.
As you say, I would love to see the cross, i missed it. i would have gone after all his mistakes and crucified him;
So you say it was almost the same as having his lung surgically removed. Can you describe surgical lung procedure and explain which bits it isnt exactly like? how was it different from a six houroperation whereby you have to break the ribcage to access the lungs? Since it was 'almost', what were the small differences?
you base everything on pressure, but you dont seem to know the units.
you have got simple exponential function factually wrong.
why did you not show total lung capacity and the tidal flow within it, rather than on top of eelv?
how do you breath (expand your lung volume creating differential pressure) with your neck?
how do you breath (expand your lung volume creating differential pressure) with your finger / knuckle?
why does not breathing for seconds give you a heart attack? how do humans survive holding their breath?
why do your diagrams not show the chest rising upwards?
Does brain death set in at 60% O2 saturation, 50%, 40% or 0% as you claim?
How is it possible for a dissolved solution of 02 in blood to achieve 0% o2 solution in a few minutes?
what does an ounce of O2 in a human mean?
why do you state inspiratory flow rate is 35 l / min when normal respiratory minute ventilation is 6l/min?
Why do you use pressure in delta pascals directly as a unit of effort and work interchangeably?
Can you tell us what the SI unit of effort is in physics and how it relates to delta p? (hint; it doesnt exist)
Do you have any idea of how tiny a pascal is?
what is the mechanism whereby the hypopharynx knows the volume of the lungs? (especially after one has been surgically removed, lol)
you say the hypopharyx would be occluded if pressed directly like a bullseye, but you havent shown this. So it wasnt occluded?
you have calculated DC upright on GF neck, and yet the video clearly shows waist bend.
why do your diagrams not show significant movement of the diaphragm?
are you trying to mislead the jury?

Please.
Just tuned into the news and one of our guys is talking lol
Dr Martin Tobin, we're everywhere
Wow you guys are really going out of your way to defend a dude that, at the very least, took seriously unnecessary action to restrain a dude, thus contributed to the dude's death. That much cannot be denied, and you guys are breaking your spines to defend him. Pathetic.
I hear ya, Chauvin is total scum. how could any sane person say anything but this guy needs to ho down hard. 2nd degee urder would work.

At least manslaughter.
If I fiddling with my phone and hit a pedestrian I'm probably getting charged with manslaughter. At the very least, negligent homicide. This dude chose to sit on a handcuffed dude's neck for 10 minutes and half of LRC is treating him like he's a hero.
Also: "[t]oxicologist says George Floyd’s fentanyl levels were lower than the majority of DUI cases"
Get bent, Chauvin supporters. There are consequences for dumb actions.
