I think I saw mention of this a few days ago. She posted recently she’s running the 13.1 distance in Texas Mar 6. Is Texas allowing races?

Clearly you don’t follow the sport if you’re asking if Texas is allowing races

Clearly I just operate the fan club. I clearly DON’T stalk races in Texas. The state full of people whining they don’t have electricity for a god awful 3 days.
Who cares? Will anyone besides Paula and her parents be watching at this point?

This isn't it.
What is the projected weather? I will check. It says 64.4F.

Yea we're really sorry about whining about lack of power, guess we'll tell the ~50 people that died and the tens of thousands that haven't had a meal or water in a few days to bug off so you can get back to your regularly scheduled jerking off in peace, a**hole.

Me and many others.

You’re clearly not a fan of the sport to use the plural of parent- her Mom passed away a few years ago, a-hole. Also, she’s a 2:20 marathoner.
Of course people care. No elite athlete has had a perfect career without struggle.

I say this as a born and bred Texan (who has lived in California for th past 30 years) ... Just STFU about your power situation. Toughen up and you go about your bidness and we'll all do the same.

I'll be sure to tell my 80 year old mother who had no heat, no water, and no way to travel on icy roads for to get supplies for 5 days last week, that she just needs to toughen up. Or maybe I should tell that to the family across the street, with a 5 month old baby that the entire neighborhood rallied around in order to supply a generator, fuel, and food to keep them warm.
What a joke and troll you are. Newsflash, if you haven't lived in the state in the last 30 years, you really shouldn't consider yourself a Texan. California can have you, because we sure as hell don't want that attitude around here.
If anything, the last week without power/water/heat has made me more sympathetic to the plight of folks in the Northeast during heatwaves and Californians that deal with rolling blackouts due to wildfires, not less. Too bad you can't say the same.

You're right, my bad. The way this thread has taken off hotter than "your move Cilantro" comments has proven that plenty of people are still interested in seeing her continue her upward trajectory from the past year or so.

You're a paper texan. That's right, little t. You probably eat BBQ tofu.
Jordan’s running a half in Texas and the Brooks crew is racing in Atl. I wish they would just compete against each other. Seems like too much dodging.
Who?

+1
Definitely not a Texan. Way out of touch. We help each other. We have since the start of it all.
