There's a glaring error immediately.
I can't see the evergreen photo of Haile, Farah, and Bekele at the GNR.
What a brilliant race that was....

That logo needs to live on in the forum; alongside: "Where Dreams Become Reality".
I didn't notice one, but a "night mode" button might be nice. It would be even better if it went from white => yellow => black/dark
The homepage still looks crappy. I would prefer if you stuck to the old-timey yellow theme that Letsrun is known for, but that's just my opinion.
Question:Why does it look crappy?
Answer:Too much text. Not enough segregation between text.
There are 2-4 line tall headlines which are sometimes accompanied by 4-8 lines tall text. Then those are stacked one on top of another with nothing except a little white space sometimes.
You are obviously trying to mimic a commercial news website with the "lots of text" style, but you have way more text per article than those sites. Go take a look at CNN, AP, or Foxnews (whatever bias you choose). They only ever put 2 lines of text together and they always separate one item from the next with something. Usually those faint horizontal lines.
If you do this: Only use two lines of text per article.
Then the homepage would look much better.
Ditto, and make the links blue (like they were or some other color) not black so it's easier to pick out what is a link & what is not.

If there’s one thing I would add, maybe some grey or blue text boxes around some of the text. If you scroll down it’s just white page with text on it. Doesn’t look bad but could be spruced up a bit
yeah, more solid divisions than just the thin grey stripes. the eyes need a visual break
Sorry - it's been too long since I posted & forgot to quote op.
I'd also prefer making links blue or some other color to make it easier to pick them out.
Now just need to redesign this crappy forum.

Glad I held off on the lower back tattoo.
But seriously, I'm not a fan of changing the logo. It's creeping towards looking like Runner's World circa 2008.

YES. Total agreement here. It's much harder to find articles, discern between different articles, etc. There is TOO MUCH TEXT.

We are able to change the slogan and may do it from time to time.
Where Your Dreams Become Reality will make a comeback from time to time but open to suggestions on slogan.
Slogan ideas:
LetsRun.com - Oddly Satisfying Running News
LetsRun.com - The World's Biggest Online Running Community
LetsRun.com - The Official Running News Site
As a graphic designer, this is very nicely done.
Has a USA Today feel.
Good job.
One suggestion on the LETSRUN.COM logo:
Use an italic font to suggest motion and less heavy than the Machine font you're using.

It is just too good to go. It should never change!
Well done guys. I might add it took you long enough!!!! I'm impressed........Gotta find something useful for this monthly.
Best wishes. There's a Medal of Honour or some such around the corner.

So now we have to wait another 10 years until the forum page get that look as well?

I thought that companies with dotcom in there name where like 2000. When the internet was still new to some.
You'll probably get a lot of negative feedback, just because most people don't like change. But it's for the best, I'd say.

I agree with Ken. The type font just looks ... AWKWARD. It looks like a naked collegiate font.
Did the quote of the day disappear? I can't find it.
Is there a reason the font in the header / footer / message board is different than the font in the front page body / article pages? I find the combination of the serifs and sans serifs fonts is jarring. Most all pages are using sans serif, and the header looks crisp with the font being used there--I would suggest standardizing.
I'm a bit cool on the serif font as others have also mentioned. Sans-serif is easier to read.
In your letsrun articles the font size size is overly large and I find myself zooming out so it doesn't look like the large font Reader's Digest for old people.
Overall it's an improvement. Good job!
