I have nothing against Tinman elite, in fact they are good for the popularity of the sport.
But I agree if he wants to be elite he needs to train with elites. Then again maybe he’s ok with training at this level, he owes nothing to us spectators.

because engels ran 4 seconds faster.... and isnt annoying like tme
Craigory also has ran a 146 800m pr already this season...so maybe an off day today, but he still ran 336.
If Hunter had run 3:36, there'd be very few people bashing Hunter. 4 seconds is a lot in a mile.

That's obscure. Does NZ even have an indoor track? More impressive that he just ran the fastest in-season 1500 in NCAA history indoors or out and he's only a sophomore
The record was previously held by Nick Willis, maybe you’ve heard of him.
Yeah but that under-sells it big time in my opinion. It would be like calling Ronaldo's stats a Portuguese record. My point was I think yesterday's races made people forget how rare it is for someone to run 3:34 indoor, or for a 20-year-old to run 3:34 in general.

And the Tinman/hunter fanboys come out of the woodwork
I love how calling out a poster saying that a person is “actually a sack of a**” means you are a fanboy and not just a decent person.
Hoare and Klecker both raced in Nike spikes, despite being On sponsored runners. They Just removed the swooshes from their spikes. Luckily for on, the broadcast didn’t zoom in on the shoes.

Brazier was the only one in the Julian group without an off day. Jenkins, Efraimson, and Engles all lacking.

I don't think a pro runner needs to be defended from an anonymous loser on a messageboard. Imagine trying to prove you're a decent person on Letsrun of all places LOL
what spikes did Tanner wear? Ive seen him in the Air Zoom Victories but UDub is an adidas school

Right, it was the decent person who is the loser, not the one calling someone a sack of a**.
That’s Letsrun for you.

That’s because NBC doesn’t care whether someone is wearing Nike or On.
Does On even have a track spike? Probably still in development. hopefully they're "still in development" for the rest of the year so it's more of a level playing field

Both Fisher & McGorty had more impressive 3k's last week.
Agreed, and they ran the first mile in 4:10 then closed in 1:53 outdoors vs. indoors with no wind.

He was describing himself as the anonymous loser, or he would have said “defended by,” not “defended from.” You follow?
I honestly don’t know when “sack of ass” became so derogatory. Sounds pretty cool to me.
Both Hoare and Klecker wore nikes

Neither of them closed in 1:53.

True. Splits for last 800*/last 400*:
Scott 1:54.28 54.63
Fisher 1:55.19 55.56
McGorty 1:55.89 56.05
Knight 1:57.83y 54.96y
*Knights splits are imperial, and convert to 1:57.1/54.6, or so.
NOTE: Scott and Knight won their races.
Interested to see how Danny Mackey's team performs in their first races in March. Indoor season
isn't always the best indicator of who will make the USA's , but it does gives an indication of how fit
athletes are leading into the summer track season and who needs to be worried.

Has Mackey ever had a contender in the US?
