2nd fastest indoor 3000 ever. 3rd fastest man in the 3000 now regardless of indoors/outdoors.
Only Komen (7:20 outdoor, 7:24.9 indoor) and El G (7:23.09) are faster.

7:24:98 ???????????????????
HUGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
And there's the challenge for US and European distance runners right there. Four guys comfortably under 7:30. How the hell do you compete with that? Puts hose BTC times from the weekend into stark perspective
Unbelievable how they took 2k in just 5:01 and then Wale, who had pr's of just 7:32i (at Lievin) and 8:05 steeple, plus 13:13, runs an incredible 7:24.98! That is the fastest time in the world in a long time, indoors or out. Girma looked very good when he came back to take the lead, apparently thinking he was finishing in lane 3, but what a breakthrough for Wale! Strange days.

4s off the outdoor WR and 2nd all time vs 5s off the oudoor WR at a shorter distance and 4th all time. Easy choice, come on

Fastest time in the world since 1999, to be exact, indoors or out.
Dragonfly spike?
OK, someone is gonna shatter 4:00 in this 1500.
29s first 200...Muir in 5th far off the lead...400 in 58?! lol...600 in 1:31...what are they going to go through the 800 in!?
800- 2.05.94
Poor Tsegay just got paced for an 800 in 2:00

Much easier to break longer distance WRs due to bouncy tracks. Come on. You can't run that fast on tiny banked tracks. There's a reason why 45 flat 400 on a banked track is surreal. Come on.
Tsegay crush the indoor 1500m record.
What is happening tonight?
3.53.09
Wow, this is the most remarkably paced 1500 EVER run.
She slowed for a 34, and now came back for 30s and 29s???
She just ran a World Record???? no way the clock has to be wrong
2:05 at the 800 in a pretty big slow down from 600 to 800...three to go and Tsegay is hurting badly. Muir seems to be about 5 seconds back with 300 to go.
Tsegay still strong...wow...3:53 in a new WR. And bouncing around post race for joy.
What Adidas shoe is she wearing?
Prototype spike or regular Avantis???
