No
I have plenty of money, so no. But if I did not. I would take the money.

Same here. If something happened to me and I had to pay money to be able to run again, I probably would give up over half of my money to be able to run.
Yes but I’m old and a hobby jogger with a family. I’d buy a nice road bike and mountain bike. Hike up mountains. I’d miss running but would adapt. Pay off mortgage, finish the college fund. Invest.
I honestly am not sure. Part of me says take it and retire—but then I can’t run in retirement so...
I'd do it for $500K, right now.
And do a daily vlog about it. Any takers?
You would generally be a fool not to take the deal IF you are at least 40 years old. You would generally be a fool to take the deal if you are under 40. However many people almost never run period. Does this mean you cannot play tennis? Does it mean you cannot run to your car on a cold day? Does it mean you cannot run away from a mugger?
Yes
I don't care for running anymore I've discovered better sports/hobbies.
For me it would be like free money with no downside.
I haven't ran in probably 3 years
Yes, need money.
Hmmm. How would I then be able to take the $ and run?
Yeeeeeppp. In a New York minute. I love running, but I also love cycling and hiking. And five million bucks means I could just cycle and hike all the time, instead of working.
If it was $5 million or even $1 million to never race or time trial again, I'd instantly take that offer.
But no running at all? No way. Can't run from danger, can't do any sports or activities that involve running, can't run to catch the bus/train/flight, and so on.
Yes if it was just road running, treadmill and races.
No if I couldn't even run to answer the phone.
I don't need to money, but the value of the money is greater than the need to run.
Sure. I haven't been able to run since 1972 and there's no prospect that that will change. A quick $5mm!
My running club dues are paid up for two years. Can we make that $5,000,100.?
What do you say?
so fast
would you tho wrote:

Yeah I’d take the money and then run when he wasn’t looking

I too, good sir, will turn down the 5M based on my already massive wealth. Will you join me for some post run caviar and DomP at my pool house tomorrow?
Sure. I'd use an elliptical.
