Another day another trumper indictment.
The gang that couldn’t shoot straight.
But ran the country in a haze of illegality.

Who is going to be the first turd polisher up today? I know it’s an impossible task, but you guys did a horrible job polishing it yesterday. Do better. 😂😂😂😂😂💩💩💩💩
Another day, another trump investigation.
have to hand it to the Republican Party - they understand well the murderer's logic: Once they have lashed themselves to a criminal, just let him do more and more crime because they're all already guilty so more crimes don't make them even more guilty.

This is not specific to one guy's experience in a limited area.
I'm hearing, from across the country, that employers who say they're hiring, or that they start people at $X/hour--aren't. Stimulus benefits ran out a while back for most (all?), and people *are* looking for work and not finding it. It's not simply because folks are all refusing to work, yada; it's partly because some employers are *lying*.

Good heavens, that is disgusting.

And it is completely fake.
And still, you were drawn to it.
Why is that?
Because they know what they *want* to be true, silly--and they're not going to let obviously-'shopped pics stand in their way.

The grand old crime party is lawyering up. Good luck.
Mark Meadows, Trump’s former chief of staff, has brought on a top Republican lawyer to handle the House's Jan. 6 investigation.
Two people familiar with the matter told POLITICO that George Terwilliger, the deputy attorney general during the George H. W. Bush administration, is representing Meadows for the select committee's inquiry into the Capitol attack. Terwilliger confirmed that he represents Meadows, who did not respond to a request for comment.
Terwilliger’s representation of Meadows, which CBS's Ellis Kim first noted, signals that the former White House chief of staff is taking the select panel’s probe very seriously.

Interesting, but not surprising. You can't even get simple definitions straight.
"Facts."
No, QUITE clearly, "OPINIONS." Specifically, the opinions of Donny Deutsch. That's not to say that they may not be accurate, but geez, apply the correct common word in the English language to the situation. It's not hard.

No, our exit from Afghanistan, however bad, did not and will not fundamentally change what other countries thought of us in July or August.

For whatever reason, this reminds of the absolutely phenomenal lack of principle and/or courage in the R party. Do you need all of the fingers on your hands to count the number who have stood up to Trump and Trumpism? Romney, Sasse, Cheney, Kinzinger, and....? And during most of this administration, I don't think that Cheney, at least, did much "standing up to."
In any event, you've got hundreds of R elected officials in Congress, and they've had the example of this small handful to ponder for months. As in, "Gee, Liz still seems to be breathing. Adam hasn't died from anxiety. MAYBE I should show some balls and stand up to him/it, as well ? I didn't have the balls to stand out by myself, but maybe I'm now willing to join in?"
Nope. No one.
A party that completely deserves to get destroyed at the ballot box. And yet won't, because this country is SO less great than so many like to pretend it is.
a recent book talked about the end of democracies...he found a common link to be that the party functionaries (in this case elected Rs) did not have the courage to stand up against the kind of anti-democracy forces we are seeing from the GOP. That lack of courage led to someone like Trump being elected and rolling back the norms that keep democracies alive.
So, no, we are not exceptional here. The GOP is playing the regular playbook for countries losing democracies.
If true, Cocaine Mitch takes control & the Biden agenda is all but done.

if you actually read the story, it says clearly that if he left the Ds, he'd be an independent, like King of Maine.
So it does not necessarily mean that Mitch would get the gavel back.
but aren't you the guy who says Mother Jones is a lefty rag, not to be trusted?
