That reminds me of the countless times I’ve heard of people forgetting to charge their EV at home overnight and waking up with no juice. . .
If you could clarify, which of these is the most accurate interpretation of your statement?
A) You know countless people who have forgotten to charge their EV at home one or more times. This would seem to contradict your assertions about EVs not being popular.
B) You know a small number of people who have forgotten to charge their EV at home countless times. This would suggest your circle of friends are idiots.
C) You know a very small number of people who repeat the same story about forgetting to charge their EV at home countless times.
D) You're fabricating the narrative.

Ah the old Fallacy of Limited Choice. You should do better.
Just do a Google search see how many instances come up. Lol
Listen here. It’s apparent some of you EV owners are big fan boyz. I get it. The fact remains that EVs aren’t ready yet. They are frustrating and inconvenient right now. In a few years they will be ready for mainstream use. Batteries will be cheaper and they will be better. Infrastructure will be set up to support it. Until then they are frustrating and inconvenient.
Correction. Not enough juice to get where you need to go. Like I told the other guy. I get it. You’re a fan boy and can’t take any criticism of EVs or your are just upset with your choice especially if you’ve been dealing with these issues for years. EVs are ready for mainstream yet. Are they getting better. Yes but really only Tesla. Makes like the bolt are still dogs even after being out for years. Will EVs get better? Yes. But right now they are inconvenient and frustrating. You even admit this through all your workarounds and one off scenarios on how EVs could be better than gas cars now. They aren’t. They are inconvenient and frustrating.
If they are so frustrating, why do all the surveys show that around 97% of EV owners will buy another EV for their next car?
Maybe we've all been brainwashed by our great ownership experience.
Chevy Bolt????
Hahahahahaha!!!!!
That’s a clown car!!!!
That’s hilarious!!!
Democrats are “funny”
It's possible that someone forgets to plug in and has to find a fast charger before they make it to their destination. It has never happened to me, but sure, it's possible.
But like I said, in a gas car, you can't even get it started if it gets too cold.
And speaking of cold, don't you hate it when you climb into a freezing car in the morning? In an EV, you just set the time you want to leave and the car will be all warmed up when you are ready. Gas cars don't have this feature because it would require starting the engine, which fills the garage with carbon monoxide.

I never said EV owners were very smart. Lol. Listen EVs will be good one day but right now they aren’t ready for mainstream yet. In a few years they will be when batteries are cheaper, last longer and infrastructure is built out. Right now they are inconvenient and frustrating. You have already admitted as much.
Don’t get me started on current EV battery life in cold weather. Your bolt probably gets only 90 miles per full charge in cold winter weather. That has to be a fun trip. Lolz. I wouldn’t drives bolt in cold or wintry weather though. EVs are going to get better in a few years. But right now they are inconvenient and frustrating as you’ve shown in your examples, scenarios and workarounds.

Yeah, EV owners think they are happy when they are really sad. I think you've been breathing too much carbon monoxide.
EV's last longer than gas cars. That has become so apparent that Hyundai even has a lifetime battery warranty.
If you buy a gas car you are an idiot.

In a few years EVs will be much better than they are today. Batteries will improve, drop in price and infrastructure will be built to support them. Right now that is not the case and that is partially why EVs are so inconvenient and frustrating today. Give it a few years and they will be ready for mainstream use. Not now though.
Would CPAC have given Biden a chance to speak there if he'd asked? Just curious. Would have given Joe a chance to show his bipartisan cred.

Joe and his handlers avoid speaking engagements, haven't you noticed?
More importantly, which type of EVs does the government employees use?
Lastly, are EV charging stations free to the public or is there a charge for the charge? If so, what is a typical fee?
It gets about 200 miles in the dead of winter. But your car won't even start.
Gas cars are horrible to own and maintain. Always breaking down. Always needing oil changes, fluids, brake pads, hoses, belts, transmissions. Hundreds of moving parts that can break and leave you stranded.
Anyone who buys a gas car is an idiot.

Lol. That’s a good one. Tell me. When your clowny bolt gets 200 miles in the dead of winter do few gas cars in your area start? Your bolt barely gets 200 miles in the best conditions. Prob 180 on the highway with no AC, heat or radio. Listen. EVs will get better in a few years. But you’ve outlined it pretty well in this thread that they are very inconvenient and frustrating. Tey will get better over time with improved battery tech that will drive down prices, increase battery run. Infrastructure will be built to make it more convenient to own one. Right now they are not ready for prime time. Through your descriptions of your own experiences you’ve admitted that you’ve had to jump through frustrating and inconvenient hoops over your ownership. Good news is that things will be better in a few years.

200 miles! That must be fun. Barely get on the road and already have to pull over, check the web for a charging station that may or may not be occupied for the next couple of hours or even operational. And then at my destination I don’t have to worry about there being a charging station. Nah. I’d rather spend that time at my destination. Batteries are getting better and in the next few years EVs will be a lot better, less frustrating and more convenient.
In the best conditions, my Bolt gets 300 miles. I've charged the battery to full many times when it says 300 miles or more of range. The average is right around the EPA estimate of 238. I don't think I've ever charged to full and seen it under 180 miles.
The new Bolt has an EPA estimate of 259 miles. But if that's not enough, you can get the Tesla Model S with 412 miles of range.
However, if you buy a gas car you are an idiot.
Lol. Yeah that’s the ticket. You just happened to get that one. Lolz. No AC, no radio, no, no, no don’t charge your phone. Cant go over 60. That decreases the mileage down to below 100. Sounds like fun times. In a few years batteries will be better and cheaper and infrastructure to support EVs will be built out. Until then EVs will be frustrating and extremely inconvenient.
By best conditions you mean being towed for a hundred of this miles. Lolz. Yes. EVs will be better in a few years due to batter battery tech and additional infrastructure. Now EVs are inconvenient and frustrating for the majority of people.
