“More contagious” doesn’t mean more fatal.
You are behind on the propaganda.
The more infectious strain was 1st found in England a few weeks ago and now is in the USA.
A more deadly variation was found in Brazil yesterday
I have seen no reports about a deadlier strain in Brazil, only the more contagious strain in Brazilian rain forests. Can’t seem to find anything via Google search either. If you have a credible source that describes it differently, I’d love to read about it.
The Brazilian strain has miltiple protein mutations on its spike tips, and no one knows yet if it is more dangerous simply because the vaccines aren't designed for that configuration, and might not work as well. Watch Dr. Campbell's YT videos fron a couple of days ago.
It appears that people in Great Britian are catching their new strain quite easily, but after the vaccine, only a small proportion actually catch it again. And, of that small portion, only some of them are temporarily infectious enough to spread it to somebody else.
To the OP's point, yes, you can still be infectious even after getting both shots. You just don't feel very sick while you are fighting it off.
