No trolling fella. You stated what your teammates have achieved. I stated what guys and gals are capable of doing. Notice I did not state the number of 1600m & 3200m athletes who could do 5 & 10:45. Does your school race 600m in P.E class? I have seen numerous athletes from a variety of sports listed race sub-97 600m with no practice. Sub-97 600m sans practice easily would be sub-2:15 after a season of T&F. Does your school system and high school have a good to great hockey program? Three hockey players in my high school P.E. class were sub-96 600m years ago. I did 6 x 800s one summer with a NJ Devil hockey player, sub-2:35 average. I have seen football wrs who obviously don't participate in XC race sub-2, 800m. Macalester College's 1st or 2nd best XC runner was also the Am. football teams field goal kicker, circa 2013. The M.I.A.C. guys on here will verify that. Lot of people in your high school can race sub-2:15 if properly motivated. Nearly everyone who can run sub-55 400m can race sub-2:15 800m. That does not hold true for longer events necessarily.
