If college basketball goes so does indoors
There are 200 indoor meets happening today.
They can still cancel indoor championships.
Do they have indoors in New Zealand?

What’s crazy is that there’s meets not requiring testing to compete. Just waiting to be a super spreader
Some track meets have already been cancelled. Many universities still have not posted their indoor schedules yet.

NJAC and New Balance Indoors canceled. Hearing of some mid majors soon to make an announcement as well...
Jdl just cancelled all meets. It’s over folks.
If they're playing basketball indoors why can't they run track?
If we had a normal team sport it would be a heck of a lot easier. Instead we do these circus carnivals with thousands of competitors.
You may want to look at Arkansas' schedule if you think it is over.
Likely the schools willing to ante up for the Covid testing protocols will compete and those schools who don't want to deal with it will either focus on winter XC or turn their attention to outdoor track.
XC and outdoor are low risks sports and simply need the test prior to a competition and in following their own schools protocols. Indoor track, however, is an Intermediate level risk sport so 25-50% of the team needs testing every 1-2 weeks in addition to testing prior to competition.
Because indoor testing will cost more money, some programs may make the decision to not compete. Schools with money will.

"Due to some family health issues (non-Covid-related), we are having to cancel all meets this season, except for Camel City, which is moving to February 19-20. "
Big South, Big Sky, and MPSF all canceled
